...DNS functionality built into the IAXY, I am assuming you want to be able to home onto a SOHO site with a dynamic IPaddress. I have not been able to figure out a clean way to do theis (make it easy for the roaming sales-folk etc,) who will not have a high tolerance for running something like an IAXYPROV. You would need to somehow have an external fixed address which would redirect all of your traffic to the dynamic address, I have found no way to do this, your best bet is to pony up the extra cash for a fixed address (usually 3-4x the cost) I would love to hear if anyone has figured this one...

Hi All, I am looking for a GSM VoIP gateway for use with Asterisk. I have come across VoiceBlue by 2N but it's price is beyond my reach. Are there any other alternatives out there? I have a brand new IAXy I'm playing with. I do not get a dialtone on the phone, or any response at ll on the phone. No sound, no dialing, no ringing. The phone and wire are tested and known to be good. I think I have it setup correctly. Hi, If I need to connect a home based user to an Asterisk server, how does the above work? Is it (after being configured/provisioned) plug and play? Anyone done this got any comments Thanks John

I can't seem to get this device to grab an ip from dhcp. We have a working dhcp server (unfortunately it is on Windows), but I don't show any leases requested by the iaxy. Anyone have any ideas? The ethernet and phone lines are plugged in before the device is powered. Thanks, Erik

Not sure if this is the best place but does any one have any used IAXy's they are interested in selling? I am looking to pick one up cheap for a proof of concept before going all out on them.
