If you just want a test unit, goto www.netxusa.com <http://www.netxusa.com/> . That's where digium sent me if I wasn't ordering in bulk. Hi,> -----Original Message----- > Not sure if this is the best place but does any one have any > used IAXy's they are interested in selling? > I am looking to pick one up cheap for a proof of concept > before going all out on them. > Also does any one have any real life practical experience > with how well (or not so well) that these devices have worked > for them? > > you can reply to me off list at asterisk@matraex.comI love the little blue boxes in the sense that it just works. Disadvantages as I have seen them these few days: - American tones only ? (or I just don't know how to change them) - Sometimes a call won't go through, dialtone stays on after keypresses. Strange. A powercycle of the iaxy usually helps - No support for hookflash transfers (will this be possible ??) Florian
Hope this is the right maillinglist. I would like to know how i can secure the iaxy. Or is the the sad truth that anyone with an iaxyprov program can change any box not behind a firewall?
