Did you use only win95 dlls? If you used dlls from any other version of win, htere could be problems with dcom 95. > > > Ivan Leo wrote: > > To install dcom95 you must have a windows 95 license (The license of no > > other version will do), so you must have win 95, have you tried to use > > the win95 native dlls? > > > > Krzysztof Pawlo...

Re: macromedia dreamweaver mx
Try using the dlls from windows 95 cd, I'm not talking about the dcom95 dlls, but the dlls win95 installs in c:windows/system. > > > puoti@inwind.it wrote: > > Did you use only win95 dlls? Setting UP An IP Printer
I have asked this question twice now, but I'm giving in one last chance. I'm new to the Linux/Samba world and would like to move my print servers over to Samba. Before I can do that, I need to do some testing. Before I can do any testing, I need to figure out how to install an IP printer in Linux. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Daniel

printers lpadmin and puppet
...gn that from exec seems like a waste. Making a type for it seems like it would be easy ( I say, while not knowing a thing about ruby). The main issue I am having is just setting up the darn things. I can use ''file'' to move around the ppds and printer.confs and then restart cups if htere are any changes, but that just seems wrong after how easy puppet has made everything else. ActiveRecord ssl Postgres connections
Hello All, I''m looking to see if I can coerce ActiveRecord to connect to a remote Postgres server via ssl. Htere seems to be a way to do it with MySQL, but I don''t see similar capability in the Postgres Adapter. Has anyone been able to force ActiveRecord to use SSL to connect to a remote Postgres server? Any help would be appreciated because I''m stuck. Mike --~--~---------~--~----~----------...

compilers a security risk?
I manage a web hosting server that we've recently upgraded, in part so we could accommodate a domain that will enable community mapping. In a recent exchange of mails one developer said: "I could build the package directly on the server machine you have, provided that the potential security risk posed by having compilers installed is not an issue." and another said:

Does Samba 4 actually respect Unix file acls?
Hello, After researching the subject on the internet I concluded that Samba should take into account Unix file acls. During my tests I found the opposite. Only Unix file mode bits are respected, and file acls are ignored. If my initial assumption is correct and Samba do respect Unix file acls, then I am doing something wrong. Please see the setup below and point to what I am doing wrong.
