Problem with Kerberos in Samba4
Hi I have a problem when setting up samba4. The server is Ubuntu 12.04 and the version of samba is 4.0.0rc6. I use a clean install of samba. I think that samba is configured correctly according to the HOWTO. Samba is provisioned like this: $ samba-tool domain provision --realm=hrm.local --domain=HRM --adminpass='xxxx' --server-role=dc resolv.conf: domain hrm.local nameserver 172.20.10.19 Every test in the HOWTO works until Kerberos is tested: $ kinit administrator at HRM.LOCAL kinit: Cannot contact any KDC for realm 'HRM.LOCAL' while getting initial creden...

Hrm, :after on auto_complete_field helper ?
Okay, urm, here is the problem :) I have an auto_complete field that gets back a set of three values, so, ideally, I thought I would put the :after tag on the auto_complete_field, use a little custom javascript function that splits it up and flings it into the other values, except, call me stupid, but, auto_complete_field doesn''t have an :after tag ? At least, I can''t see

IP to NetBIOS resolution
Hello, Is there *any* way to reliablily determine the NetBIOS name of a computer when you only know their IP address? I know it is very easy to find the IP address from the NetBIOS name, but I can't seem to find any way of getting a NetBIOS name from an IP.. James deBoer (jdeboer@scsinternet.com)

Wine and Audio problem
...data from my Polar Heart Rate Monitor to my computer. The program uses sound to transmit data files, which are picked up my the microphone and then the program shows all data, if all goes well. It worked perfectly twice, but then I get sound problems. The problem here, is that the sounds from the HRM are not being picked up by the microphone. In winecfg, I see that VIA 8235 is the wave-out device, but as wave-in device dsnoop:0 is given. I think this is where the problem lies: another program shares wave-in with the HRM program. Is this indeed the case or am I wrong about this? How can I make w...

[LLVMdev] Using -noexternals option of NightlyTest.pl

The /home/vadve/shared/PublicCVS path is the internal path to the root of the CVS repository. I'm not sure if the tester script has the ability to check out the tree over anon cvs yet. Reid do you know? -Chris -- http://llvm.cs....

Icecast2 / Ogg / oddcastDSP / Winamp2 Constant Prebuffering
Hrm, yes it does sound like a bug in WinAmp. Even if it does prebuffer, the length counter should be going beyond 0:01 since you've obviously been listening longer than that after the first second. =P (I don't think the counter resets after buffering, but I could be wrong.) Can you see if...

RHEL4 as 64-bit HVM guest -- not starting in 64 bit mode
I''m trying to install RHEL 4 on an HVM (Core 2 Duo). However, when the RHEL installer tries to start the kernel, it complains that the CPU doesn''t support extended mode, and that I should use a 32-bit installer. However: hrm@willow:~$ sudo xm info | grep xen_caps xen_caps : xen-3.0-x86_64 hvm-3.0-x86_32 hvm-3.0-x86_32p hvm-3.0-x86_64 Is there some magic I need in the config file for the domain to tell it that it''s a 64-bit guest? It seems that LiveIntervals will need to be taught about the new form of virtual registers. Hrm. I'm going to try to break this work up as much as possible. Also, do you see any problems with using the following class for vregs? It makes it possible to not have to go through and update every call site for a large number of functions. class vreg : public std::pair<unsigned,unsig...

I think the best way is to get the wording to align with the general expectations of the community. Do you have specific things that would help there?
