USB keyboard not working? (* Help needed *)
Are there anyone who has a machine on which the *current* version of SYSLINUX ends up with an inoperable USB keyboard, especially when using the menu system? I might have a workaround, but I don't have a system which exhibits the problem available to me at the moment, and I really don't want to put in a hack without knowing that it actually does anything... If you do have such a

ANN: RSpec 0.6.2
I just released RSpec 0.6.2 Hopefully this fixes the couple of glitches that went into 0.6.1 - the RSpec rake task was heavily refactored in 0.6.1 and didn''t work properly when packaged as a gem. This should be fixed now. Holler if things are still broken. Cheers, Aslak

[LLVMdev] `make check' failures in r102924
I successfully built LLVM (r102824) with ./configure --enable-optimized --enable-targets=host --with-built-clang on Fedora 12 on an Athlon64 processor. (The clang is the 2.7 pre-built version.) However, running `make check' produced 6 unexpected failures (see below). If there's something you'd like me to do, just holler. --- Vladimir FAIL:

Window#create
Hi I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any circumstances where the "create" methods that all Windows have are useful? They end up producing quite a lot of C++ code so I might try undeffing them if they''re useless. Alex

git daemon on zytor is back in action
The git daemon on zytor is now functional again, as I managed to carve out a little bit of time to dig into the selinux problem. Cloning git via either http://git.zytor.com/ or git://git.zytor.com/ However, the web interface is still broken. I'll see if I can fix it in the next few minutes, otherwise I'll probably have to pass. -hpa

SYSLINUX 3.70-pre7: a very special prerelease
I have produced a first cut of integrating gPXE with PXELINUX. This builds, in addition to the usual pxelinux.0, an image called gpxelinux.0 which includes the gPXE network stack. The result is that one can now download images via (almost) any network protocol supported by gPXE, including http. This lets one do fun things like using a CGI or PHP script for the configuration file. SAN

asterisk.ctl limitations
Hi I wrote a small patch to netcat to work with unix domain sockets to enable me to communicate with an asterisk daemon through the unix-domain socket /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl . Only then I noticed that reading the code is done very differently than a typical network protocol: it expects every command in a separate read. Basically I used the following filter to pipe commands from the
