virConnectListAllDomains support for PowerVM
Hey guys,
I'm so glad you added the new set of virConnectListAllDomains functions, it
simplifies a lot our work!. I was only wondering why there is no support
for PowerVM. Is it that it hasn't been developed or is there some technical
hardship?

Power Failures or Spikes
Hi all,
My server is connected to a UPS but whenever there is a power failure or
spike it seems that once all the clients come back up they cannot
connect. I have to restart the server each time.
This is no hardship but I was just wondering if anybody had the same
problem and if so and they fixed it, how?
Thanks

Liability reasons because we serve alcohol at the reception. I can change to age if thats better or ask if someone is under 21 but you may still be asked show ID if a server is unsure.

where can I find Durbin-Waston test tables for Confidence Level 2.5% or 0.5%?
Hi all,
I am doing a two-sided DW test:
H0: rho = 0
H1: rho =/= 0
My understanding is that most test statistics tables are one-sided. It's the
way they created the table.
So from online, by doing Googling, I found a bunch of DW tables for
Confidence Level 5%.
Those tables can answer my two-sided question at 5x2 = 10% confidence level.
But what if I want two-sided test at 1% and 5%

Rdonlp2 package question
Previous versions have this question have partially bounced.
I apologize if parts of this are showing up multiple times on the
list.
Another try ...
There was at one time an R package called Rdonlp2 for solving
constrained nonlinear programming problems. Both the objective
function
and the constraints could be nonlinear in the decision variables.
The package is no longer in the CRAN list.

Centos and colocation....
...host to my own server and cancelled the account.
It is just a wonderful and elated feeling to know I have a good server with
redundancy, great raid mirror, awesome software, great company updating
security patches and a great company that repackages that for me from
redhat.
So far, other than the hardships of learning how to build the dang webserver
with a ton of poorly instructed programs, centos has been sturdy, stable,
and works like a charm, almost out of the box!!
I would never want to repeat the experience of learning this stuff for the
first time...never. But now that I passed what I hope is...

I keep getting the following error:
No such file or directory - /tmp/mysql.sock
RAILS_ROOT: ./script/../config/../
from the downloaded code for Agile''s depot app. Could someone point me
in the right direction?

anthem details
Hello Everyone,
Does anyone have any more detail about what kind of system Anthem / Blue
Cross was running and what kind of attack broke into their system?
It's terrible that it happened, but I think it would benefit all Admins
everywhere to learn how it happened so that we can secure our systems
from a similar breach of information.
Anyone know?

OpenSSH_2.9.9p2 Configuration problem
I've recently upgraded some of my machines from an ssh1 environment to
an openssh one, and consequently, I'm now using the ssh2 protocol. I
can't seem to get it to allow remote logins without prompting for a
passphrase or password. Is this possible? I've created id_dsa and
id_rsa files etc., using ssh-keygen and have copied the public
information to the remote authorized_keys

RFC: failover configuration
I've recently been asked to investigate the possibility of using our 2 Samba
fileservers (strictly) in a manually-enabled symmetric failover configuration
for read-only file shares.
Using rsync :) I've managed to replicate the predominantly static filesystems
between our two Unix servers. Now, I'm testing a script which starts a second
set of nmbd and smbd procs (in daemon mode)
