virConnectListAllDomains support for PowerVM
Hey guys,
I'm so glad you added the new set of virConnectListAllDomains functions, it
simplifies a lot our work!. I was only wondering why there is no support
for PowerVM. Is it that it hasn't been developed or is there some technical
hardship?

Power Failures or Spikes
Hi all,
My server is connected to a UPS but whenever there is a power failure or
spike it seems that once all the clients come back up they cannot
connect. I have to restart the server each time.
This is no hardship but I was just wondering if anybody had the same
problem and if so and they fixed it, how?
Thanks

where can I find Durbin-Waston test tables for Confidence Level 2.5% or 0.5%?
...nfidence Level 5%.
Those tables can answer my two-sided question at 5x2 = 10% confidence level.
But what if I want two-sided test at 1% and 5% confidence level?
Then I need 0.5% and 2.5% tables on those one-sided table.
My sample size is 278, and the number of parameters is 2, these adds to the
hardship of finding a good table...
Could anybody give me some pointers of two-sided DW tables or 1-sided DW
table with 0.5% and 2.5% confidence levels?
Thanks a lot!
Moreover, I appreciate any pointers about electronic tables that I can use
in programs, I want to implement DW test myself, but let the pr...

Flash has always been banned from all my machines, without exception and
regardless of any resulting "hardship". I wonder why so-called Computer

secretly, and it always has, deposits information on the user's hard

One can always write a script to automatically search for and report
pending expirations. There is no real need for accounts to actually
expire. But, even if accounts do expire for active users then it is
not much of a hardship to report the fact and to have them
reactivated. On the other hand, disused accounts never get reported
and remain deactivated.
Also, when a person leaves our employ and somehow the cancellation of
all or some their accounts gets overlooked in the out-processing then
shortly their accounts will b...

Rdonlp2 package question
Previous versions have this question have partially bounced.
I apologize if parts of this are showing up multiple times on the
list.
Another try ...
There was at one time an R package called Rdonlp2 for solving
constrained nonlinear programming problems. Both the objective
function
and the constraints could be nonlinear in the decision variables.
The package is no longer in the CRAN list.

It is just a wonderful and elated feeling to know I have a good server with
redundancy, great raid mirror, awesome software, great company updating
security patches and a great company that repackages that for me from
redhat.
So far, other than the hardships of learning how to build the dang webserver
with a ton of poorly instructed programs, centos has been sturdy, stable,
and works like a charm, almost out of the box!!
I would never want to repeat the experience of learning this stuff for the
first time...never. But now that I passed what I hope is...

anthem details
Hello Everyone,
Does anyone have any more detail about what kind of system Anthem / Blue
Cross was running and what kind of attack broke into their system?
It's terrible that it happened, but I think it would benefit all Admins
everywhere to learn how it happened so that we can secure our systems
from a similar breach of information.
Anyone know?

OpenSSH_2.9.9p2 Configuration problem
...thorized_keys files from the other ends of
the connections.
When I try to connect, I get propted for the rsa passphrase, and if I
don't give it, the dsa one, and finally the password.
I prefer the ssh1 behavior, although, adding the information to the
various authorized_keys files is no great hardship.
Any suggestions?
I don't subscribe to this list, so please cc me directly.

RFC: failover configuration

2) nmbd -D -s smb.failover.conf
3) smbd -D -s smb.failover.conf
and (hopefully?)... viola!
How will smb clients react to this? Will the sudden ethernet (MAC) address
change cause any hardship to NT clients? How about lock (var) directories, can
they be shared between the two sets of server processes? Any other caveats that
I'm overlooking? Am I in violation any major Samba dogma? Any comments would
be greatly appreciated.

I believe it was probably just an oversight - our intention was that the
new API worked with all drivers. Feel free to send a patch for phyp if
you think you can manage to write the code.
