I have problem to change from handsfree mode to handset mode. When I switch from handset to handsfree while waiting for connection I press the green speakerphone button once. It is all well. Once it is connected I don't want to give the called party too much echo and I want to switch it back to handset. If I press the green button again I lose the call. Hi, I've been very puzzled lately. I installed a phone system for a friend a few weeks ago, and they're having a problem that I can't get rid of, actually 2 problems. Before I go into the problems, let me tell you about the setup. It's a pretty small setup with only 4 handsets, all Polycom 320s, the server is a Dell SC440 with Intel E2180 CPU (dual core, 2GHz) and 512MB Ram. We've deoplyed a number of pure VoIP wireless (wifi & proprietary) phones, but not dect. Is there a simple overview of integrating DECT phones with Asterisk somewhere? I assume the DECT basestation has a multi-account SIP VoIP interface, and the handsets are just plain old dect? Can you push configuration info to individual phones? I'm now looking at the Siemens A510IP base ($90 ) and A510H handset ($40) and the Grandview DP715 base ($80) and DP710 handset ($45). I have just bought several Sipura SPA-841 SIP phones, and after some testing I have found out that the volume received by other parties when calling using the handset is very low.
