[LLVMdev] Live code elimination problem in code generation
...ch MBB. But they are eliminated in some other optimization stage. To my thinking, the initial placement of SELECT_CC seems wrong. I tried to dig in SelectionDAG directory, I could find any clue. How can I avoid this situation ? Anyone can give me a hint ? Thank you. Have a nice day! Regards, Hae-woo Park -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... [LLVMdev] Branch transformation with branch-weight metadata
...nch transformation code. IMHO, in case the branch direction is, for example, reversed for optimization, the corresponding branch-weight metadata also has to be changed. In what code can I find such a metadata management code ? Can anyone give me a hint ? Thank you. Virus checking
We are using samba to give our NT users access to our UNIX servers (running Solaris 2.5.1) and to give our UNIX users, using Wincenter, access to their UNIX directories. We want to be able to run a virus checker (Network Associates VirusScan) from a NT 4.0 workstation and have it check the samba (UNIX directories). Since we want to centralize this activity, I want to be"root" on the

p-level in packages mgcv and gam
Hi, I am fairly new to GAM and started using package mgcv. I like the fact that optimal smoothing is automatically used (i.e. df are not determined a priori but calculated by the gam procedure). But the mgcv manual warns that p-level for the smooth can be underestimated when df are estimated by the model. Most of the time my p-levels are so small that even doubling them would not result

HTML-documentaion on NT
Once you hae in stalled Guido's NT port of R it is nice and easy to install the add-on packages too. However, it would be nice to have links to the documentation of the functions in all the packages from the "All Installed Functions" html-page, and not have to go through each of the packages. Is...

problem with password setup
...that allowed the machine to log in, but the user's could not change their passwords. When I added the registry entry in the source distribtion, the situation got worse. The computer log's in, but then gives an error message that it could not get the roaming profile and all the disk mounts hae failed for password problems. The type of system is a Windows 2000 client, although I have also been trying with a WindowsXP client. Can someone advise on what could be wrong and what the current setup's suggested for passwords. Thanks

Hi, I need some help in wrapping my head around the following problem: I want to layout a site in a similar manner as http://yoxos.com/ ondemand/. There you hae a tree on the left hand side and details of the tree-selection in the (lower) middle. You can switch what type of info should be shown by tabs in the middle. Here, I have a hierarchical set of keywords. Each keyword is related to one product and there are many images "tagged" with...

Samba performance Issues v/s NT
Hi, We are doing benchmarking for samba-2.0.0beta2 on Red Hat Linux 5.0 and have noticed the following differences when compared to NT 4.0. A typical query to Samba is faster than NT when there is only one user accessing the share. But when the no. of users is increased to two, NT performs better than samba. Time taken by Samba is 2 times than that of NT when there are 2 users. We have not
