IP address, but not by name.

I'm not seeing it in this thread but I might've missed it too. Anyway,
I'm being reminded that the ADD will change rFLAGS while MFENCE doesn't
touch them.
Do we care?

Strange update problem 3.0.5->3.0.6 with XP-Clients
...cannot access
the files (read error in xp). I have tested it with
Xp-Prof SP1 und SP2 (domain-login) and XP-Home (no domain login).
Any hints what I should do? (I am no samba expert - until now it just
worked)
(bugreport to debian is submitted, 3.0.6-2 did not solve the problem)
Thanks & Gruss

switch server/client mode...
...debian-devel-200111/msg00757.html
is also interestingly.
Have rsync a Option to switch the calculation of the block checksums to
the server and move the real work to the client?
I have shown in the source code and found a unused(?) Option '--sender'.
Can you explain this option?
Thanks
Gruss

Change Allowed Workstations with pdbedit
Dear Samba Users,
I have a Samba 3.2.5 Server running on Debian. I use tdbsam as a password
database and wonder how I can change the "Workstations" value in order to
control the allowed workstations for a particular user. Last year I had a
configuration with ldap using the smbldap tools where it was possible to set
this value. But how can I set it without LDAP just using pdbedit?

nufa and missing files
We're using gluster-2.0.1 and a nufa volume comprised of thirteen
subvolumes across thirteen hosts.
We've found today that there are some files in the local filesystem
associated with the subvolume from one of the hosts that are not
being seen in the nufa volume on any gluster client.
I don't know how or when this happened, but now we have to do some
work to get this gluster volume
