RMagick, OS X, and granite
I''m having an odd problem with RMagick. Consider the following script:
############################################################
require ''rubygems''
require ''RMagick''
Magick::ImageList.new(''granite:'').display
############################################################
Under Linux (Debian in particular), this works fine and displays the
builtin granite tile. Under OS X, I get the following error:
RMagick reading ["granite:"]

Hi,
My data.frame "A" has FID like this

Now my second data.frame "B" has age value for a, b, c, d like
FID Age

b 7
c 9
d 3
How can search for the Age column in "B" and replace the values in "A" so that my new "A" looks like this
FID Age

rmagick and captcha
Has anyone implemented a captcha with ruby on rails and rmagick?
I tried this example:
http://wiki.rubyonrails.com/rails/pages/HowtoSecureFormsWithNoisyImages
but I got an error:
undefined method `size'' for #<NoisyImage:0x34d8070>
Thank you

[LLVMdev] libiomp, not libgomp as default library linked with -fopenmp
A couple more data points. Current llvm 3.7svn with the two outstanding
OPENMP patches can build the openmp support in gdl 0.9.5 (which completely
passes its test suite) and apbs 1.4.1's limited openmp support.

Mobile phone codecs ...
...;t find it in the manual...
And it supports:
ilbc
g729
ulaw/alaw
No GSM!
How odd is that, given that it's a GSM mobile phone...
Anyway, my quest for the ultimate "one handset" solution is getting
closer. If Wi-Fi weren't so rubbish and my house not made of Dartmoor
Granite it might have half a chance of working outside the room with the
access point, however ...
Anyone tried the Plantronics Voyager 510 bluetooth headsets which
regsiters to both a mobile phone and their own base unit (which
presumably has a USB sound device)
as in:

External Journal scenario - good idea?
...with 8 Western Digital
WD1200JB 120GB ATA100 7200rpm hard drives installed. 7 of the 8 drives
are joined to a RAID5 array, the 8th is an unassigned hot spare. The
UltraTrak's SCSI interface is an Ultra2-LVD (80MB/sec) interface,
connected via its external 68-pin MicroD cable, to a custom Granite

the "B" channel of the onboard AIC7899W Ultra160 SCSI interface. The
RAID unit is the only SCSI device attached to this channel at this time,

Names of flowers are numerous but not exactly cool. I do not think any other
software project has used flower names.

The floppy disk images are fine - I have used them with an ISOLINUX boot CD.
Am I attempting the impossible?
