Wine and DM Genie
Hey all,
I posted about this yesterday to the wine NG, but I've
discovered some new info about my trouble.
I downloaded DM Genie[1] and the install works more or less
flawlessly from Wine. When I run the installed executable, though,
problems ensue. The splash screen shows up and proceeds to load a
number of modules/data, but then stops around 75% and my HDD starts

Asterisk13 don't execute h exten inside macros
Hi,
We are try new Asterisk13 and was noted it don't execute h exten priorities inside macros.
We have a macro where we make all our call processing, and we use h exten inside it for billing (updating CDR(vars)).
If context where that macro is called have some h extens, asterisk execute them. So, I wonder, h exten inside macros was deprecated?
Thanks in advance.

wins.dat keeps coming back with bad information
I recently reconfigured a box running FreeBSD 5.3 with Samba v. 3.0.7
running as PDC. It was servicing 2 networks, processing logons for
192.168.200.0/24 and 192.168.115.0/24. The reason for 2 networks was
security, 115.0/24 had some stuff on it that the users on 200.0/24
shouldn't have access to. Before the reconfiguration, the system was
working 100%.
To make everything better I flattened

issue with Digium TDM410P
The TDM410P doesn't support 'hvac', only the obsolete TDM400P supports that
option was for the old phones that have a neon light (or equivalent
LED+ZENER ciruit).
Are other phones off the TDM410P (other than the VTECH) working, or is the
Vtech the only model with VMWI available to you.
I'm not able to check at the moment, I have copied the asterisk-users list,

Editing N instances of a model on one page
I have a situation where I want to edit an arbitrary number of instances
of one model on one page. I can and have accomplished this by manually
managing the object <-> text field relationship, but in a way I consider
at best hackish. I''d like to know a clean way to do this.
If you want to edit the name attribute on a person class, you write code

Differentially expressed gene list
Hi,when I perform SAM on my array data(siggenes)I have some problems in
retrieving the separate lists of up regulated and down regulated genes.
When I write:
fold<-function(x){
gruppi<-split(x,controllo)
geni1<-abs(mean(gruppi[[2]])-mean(gruppi[[1]]))
return(geni1)
}
fold<-esApply(expr.contr.tratt.4,1,fold)

Error saving cdr at h exten in Asterisk13
Dears,
I need to save some information on userfield when calls end in Asterisk13, but I have two error cases:
1. With endbeforehexten=no in cdr.conf, I have a registry in cdr, but userfield is not set.
2. With endbeforehexten=yes, I have two lines in cdr, one with duration, src e dst correct, and a second line with userfield setting and dst h.
I am using cdr_odbc.conf, with Asterisk11.14.0 it

Redirect incoming port to another port internal.
Hi all,
I have tried to figure out how to do this one but I think I have just
confused myself more.
My firewall is a 2 interface setup, the same box is my router to my uplink.
I''m not using nat at all and have a public IP range behind this machine.
net = eth0
loc = eth1
Most of my rules are mainly the basic

Using CentOS Wordpress rpms
Greetings,
Apologies for my seeming daft naivete.
I'm wondering if there any sort of conventions for using Wordpress on
CentOS?
Generally until now, I have had users install Wordpress from tarballs on a
case-by-case basis. This means that you can have several different
versions of WordPress operating on a site.
With the RPM you have a version that can be consistent across multiple

antispam plugin problem
Hi people!
(Especially Johannes, probably =)
I recently switched to DSPAM + antispam plugin combination.
Mostly I am happy but there is a problem with calling dspam-exec in order to
relearn the messages.
Moving messages to spam folder does not work, giving the error message
'Failed to call dspam' to client.
I tried to add some debug output and here are the results:

Action Originate in Asterisk 13 creates 2 calls in core show channels
Hello,
I am migrating a PABX system based in Asterisk 1.4 to Asterisk 13, with success.
I have an application that sends an action Originate to AMI for
calling, it's working well, but when i see to Asterisk's CLI, i see 2

SwitchTower 0.10.0
SwitchTower is a utility that can execute commands in parallel on
multiple servers. It allows you to define tasks, which can include
commands that are executed on the servers. You can also define roles
for your servers, and then specify that certain tasks apply only to
certain roles. It was developed primarily to ease the pain of
deploying Rails applications to multiple machines, but can

Low bitrate high-band coding...
Hi,
I'd like to contribute to Vorbis and I think this may be of some interest for
low bitrate coding. I have been experimenting with low bit-rate coding for the
high-band (11 kHz to 22 kHz) and, though I haven't yet started quantizing my
coefficients (a gain and an LPC filter), I expect to be able to approximate the
whole 11-22 kHz band with around 1000 bits/s per channel (maybe even 500

[RFC 0/9] Add precise/invariant semantics to TGSI
Running Tomb Raider on Nouveau I found some flicker caused by ignoring precise
modifiers on variables inside Nouveau.
This series add precise/invariant handling to TGSI, which can be then used by
drivers to disable certain unsafe optimisations which may otherwise alter
calculations, which depend on having the same result across shaders.
This series fixes this bug in Tomb Raider and one CTS test

The elephant in the room: Oracle
So what does everyone else think of Oracle's announcement? http://
developers.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/10/25/2316221
I kind of think that they are going to be hurting RedHat (a valuable
partner if you believe their deployment numbers).
Oh silly, silly Larry. I guess the only hope that we have is that it
actually increases mind share of RHEL and hence broader support for
it (and
