Configuring SPA-3000 As A Trunk
We have just posted a review of the Sipura SPA-3000 with a complete setup guide for using the device as a trunk to Asterisk. It is easy to setup and works as good as any Zaptel setup and includes an ATA. It really is one cool device! http://www.geekgazette.com/index.php?option=com_content <http://www.geekgazette.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=28> &task=view&id=28 Kerry Garrison http://www.geekgazette.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Asterisk as a phone survey system
Hi, I'm interested in developing an automated phone survey and am curious if Asterisk could be configured to run such a system.. My idea is to record a message and a series of sub-questions. The system would call each number on a list and play the message, Depending on the touch tone response another message would be played. Is it possible for asterisk to manage a survey like this?

Asterisk on a dialup connection?
How will this fare? I am planning on putting an asterisk box for my brother in the Philippines but they only have dialup internet. I want them to be able to use a telephone set on a phonejack or linejack card and call me and vice versa via VOIP. My setup in the US is working already with a broadband cable connection. I am thinking that dialup may not work because of the bandwidth required

My setup is that of a Sipura, linked with a local analog cordless phone, a local PSTN line and the setup to link to an asterisk server located at a remote static ip address. I can dial the cordless phone from other extensions located at the asterisk server; I can dial out

Asterisk no sound from sound card
Hi all, I have a k6 2-400 that has a creative awe64 sound card. It plays sound fine when using a standard audio player. I want to use the sound card as a console phone but there is no audio from the sound card. I have tried compiling various version of asterisk with no luck. I did use this machine about 2 years ago with Asterisk and Mdk 10 and it worked fine. Currently using Mandriva 2006. Any

Re: Two companies - One Asterisk
...h a good amount of features followed with a disclaimer that if you want to take full advantage of everything that Asterisk can do, then at some point you will need to get into the config files directly. Dean - > if you are having these troubles and everyone keeps advising you to use > asterisk@home why aren't you doing this? Not to be rude, but I believe you are the only one who suggested he use asterisk@home. asterisk@home is a great (actually stupendous) product for those that want to have a PBX with a GUI up and running within a few minutes. It does not, however, force users
