I will be upgrading my Samba server from 2.2.8a to 3.0.10. I currently have security set to 'share' and plan on migrating to 'ads' for improved authentication. I have one snag, though... I have remote users who reside in and are managed by a Windows domain that is not in my control. There is no trust relationship at all. If I use 'ads' security, can I add a 'valid

(If you prefer to mask out part or all of the serial number, that is fine.) Let us know if any of the returned values are known to be incorrect for your set...

preventing automatic reboot
Hello, I'd like to prevent my servers from rebooting when power comes back after a power failure. With powerchute (which I used before), there is an "automatic reboot" parameter. Is there an equivalent with nut ? Regards -- Frantz de Germain Web : http://www.info.univ-angers.fr/pub/frantz Membre de la Soci?t? d'Astronomie de Nantes : http://www.san-fr.com/

chroot support for ssh and sftp
...ng. My questions are two-fold, then: 1. Are there plans to support chroot()'ing in the portable source? 2. What other chroot options are there available for the portable source (I've seen Damien Miller's patch for OpenBSD, but I don't really have any experience coding in C)?
