Hello. I'd like to know if, under Windows, on a dual-core system, both cores are used by this game. For me, under wine, though both cores are detected correctly, only one of them is used (one is 100%, the other 0%). Can anybody tell me if the game behaves the same under Windows? Hi, I've been in #winehq all day with this and nobody seemed to have any ideas, so I figured I'd post here. I recently installed TF2, which is an official HL2 mod. No problems with installation. Hi there, I am new to wine and Linux, so please excuse me? Ok, I have loaded Civ4. the files are on and Wine recognises them. When I try run the programme through Wine, it boots but I get an error message that CD-rom not present or it can't be read. On searching forums, it gives me fixes whereby I need to load an updated DLL file into the registry? And patch (which I have), and a CD crack?

My girlfriend is currently running Leopard and she wants to use a certain playstation game playing program. I am curious how come Wine has no direct support for DOS but has support for Windows 2,3 & 95 (which required DOS for their installation). I think of Wine as an utility to run legacy software and DOS compromises a big chunk of it.
