[LLVMdev] Trouble Resolving Objective-C Symbols in lli
Hi there, I'm trying to run trivial Objective-C code that uses the
Foundation framework under MacOS X in lli. It seems that the code will
compile and
run using llc, however fails to work in lli.
SimpleFoundation.m:

#import <Foundation/Foundation.h>
int main (int argc, const char * argv[]) {
NSAutoreleasePool * pool = [[NSAutoreleasePool alloc] init];

R Founding
A few days ago Tal Galili posted a message about some controversies
concerning the future of R. Having read the discussions, especially those
following Ross Ihaka's post, I have come to the conclusion, that, as usual,
the problem is money. I doubt there would be discussions about dropping R in
its present form if the R-Foundation were properly funded and could hire
computer scientists,

[LLVMdev] Objective-C code in lli
Hi,
Is it possible to run Objective-C code in lli? lli does not seem to
want to load Foundation.framework.
Please see below.
Thanks,
Eric Brunstad
#import <Foundation/Foundation.h>
int main(int argc, char *argv[])
{
NSAutoreleasePool *pool = [[NSAutoreleasePool alloc] init];
NSLog(@"test!");

Setting up Apollo Line Interactive UPS on Ubuntu
Hi
Having followed this guide:
http://blog.shadypixel.com/monitoring-a-ups-with-nut-on-debian-or-ubuntu-linux/and
seeing support for Apollo UPSes mentioned on the compatibility list
(genericups, type=4) I tried to set up Nut as follows.
OS: Ubuntu Server 12.04
Nut: 2.6.3 (I believe - from Ubuntu repos)
ups.conf:

[Bridge] Update OSDL/Linux-Foundation maintainer addresses
Hi,
I'm not sure if this is apprriate or not, but here goes anyway.
The patch below updates MAINTAIER address
Individuals (Only Andrew :): osdl.org -> linux-foundation.org
Lists: osdl.org -> lists.osdl.org
I assume the latter will change at some stage, but at least
with this change the osdl/linux-foundation lists are consistent.

Make a donation via PayPal? (was: [R] Monetary support to the R-project)
Dear R developers
I understand that this is not a proper r-devel message, but it still
touches to the organisation of the R project.
I would like to make a small donation to the project, but I am not
comfortable with sending my credit card details via post or mail and,
as echoed elsewhere on r-help, would prefer to go through a generally
accepted service such as PayPal.
Would there be any

lists.linux-foundation.org seems to be funtional now,
so I guess it is as good a time as any to update

There are still some http links to osdl.org, but
I'm not sure if they should be updated, and if so,
what they should be updated to.
