incompatible voice frame on IAX2/4589@4589/3 of format SPEEX since our
native format has changed to ULAW
Both have:
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
in the iax.conf file.
Anyone have any ideas how I messed this up?

Filtering with MAC Address
Can someone help me to do ''tc filter'' by MAC Address? I use HTB in my setup
and it works wonderfully for IP, but I need to shape NAT connections, and I
can''t do it using IP addresses. Any suggestions welcome!

Softphone for Linux recommendation
Can anyone _recommend_ a downloadable OSS softphone that _works_ under
Linux and is compatible with Asterisk.
So far I have tried kphone and linphone and had problems with both, and
I am still waiting to hear back from the X-Lite beta folks.

Problems installing Zaptel
Hi,
I am new to asterisk.
I have downloaded Asterisk and Zaptel from the cvs root.
I am installing them on Mepis with linux-2.6.7
Whenever I try to do "make" in the zaptel directory, I get the following
errors.
make -C /lib/modules/`uname -r` /build SUBDIRS=/usr/src/zaptel modules
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.7`
make[1]: *** No rule to make target

PRI got event: HDLC Bad FCS
I'm running asterisk 1.0.3 and seeing occasional messages on the
asterisk console that say:
Dec 18 09:09:55 NOTICE[26411]: chan_zap.c:7381 pri_dchannel: PRI got
event: HDLC Bad FCS (8) on Primary D-channel of span 1
or
Dec 18 09:25:46 NOTICE[26411]: chan_zap.c:7381 pri_dchannel: PRI got
event: HDLC Abort (6) on Primary D-channel of span 1
They don't see to have a noticeable impact
