I have temporarily changed my working place and now checking for updates the R repository at the University of Washington, closest to me. It doesn't give updates. call update.packages(ask=FALSE) with repository USA(WA) didn't do anything, but call update.packages(ask=FALSE) with repository Austria has updated the lattice package.
