Hi All, I would like to use anonymous cvs, but it appears not to be working (again?). There was a discussion back in Jan-Feb about whether to continue supporting it, but it seemed that Tony Rossini got it working and the discussion left off there. Did someone decide to disable it, or is it just not working properly? Here's the details: $ cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.r-project.org:/home/rcvs/src login (Logging in to anoncvs@cvs.r-project.org) CVS password: anoncvs /home/rcvs/src: no such repository cvs login: authorization failed: server cvs.r-project.org rejected access to /home/rcvs/src for user anoncvs BTW, I would like to see anonymous CVS continue to be available. I would like to use it to have an easy mechanism for creating patches that are up-to date. Looks like it nearly in sync with the main mirror, only 30 minutes of of (a mirror of the???) main archive. The modules and the timing of the sync I know; the rest is strictly conjecture. best, -tony -- A.J. Rossini Rsrch. Asst.
