winelib runs but wine ok.... Why??
...small program (~10k lines) that just uses elementry API (like
SendMessage). It compiles under Borland C++ Builder 5.5.1 (for win exe)
and under g++ with winlib. The problem is that the Builder EXE runs
perfectly with WINE __BUT__ the library built with winlib does not run -
spits out a segmentation faul @ line 400 (whatever that means) and some
Error 139 with nothing else.
All this happens before the app enters WinMain. Oh yes, under winedbg
the g++ compiled app runs perfectly as well (except sometimes winedbg
fails to start).
I thought that winlib is the same as wine except for the loaded - cou...

.Call and Segmentation Fault
...l it from a main() in a C
program. But when I call it from R with
.Call("name_of_the_c_function"), R gives me some weird output.
This weird output is a worng answer to my optimization problem
(sometimes after thousands iteractions, what does not occur when
called from C) or a segmentation fault error. The kind of output
depends on the machine I am using. At home I got a segmentation faul,
in university I got those wrong values.
I tried a memcheck in C and Fortran binaries, but everything seems
allright except by 2 missing free() calls (wich I don`t think might be
causing this error).
I c...

Ztdummy usage
Dear All,
I have installed Asterisk everything is OK until I tried to configure
meeting room, configuration was simple enough when I try I get a message
that it's not a valid meeting room, Now I don't have a Zaptel device on
my machine, so I found that you will have to use ztdummy to make a
dummy zaptel device on your machine and this is because of timing
issues.
My question is ztdummy

It works and I'm able to access the shared drive. There are no messages in

However if I use group

I can't access the drive and I get a lot of errors in my messages file. Here is
some of the errors.

netlogon script not running...(upgrade from 3.0.25b to 3.2.4)
Hi all,
I have been using samba for a very long time and have just upgraded my
3.0.25b servers to 3.2.4.
I have a bunch of BDC's located in different areas of the country and a
PDC running at HQ.
I'm using LDAP as the user directory and I replicate the tree to every
site. Samba looks up users using the replicas.
I also use netlogon scripts to mount drives and set the time when the
