But in the case of binaries list, all binaries mentioned at the list will
be linked statically with ALL libraries, not only 3 (in my case) .

Synchronize /etc/passwd (for examle in a RedHat) with smbpasswd
Hello,
I'm looking for a way, to synchronize the linux/unix passwd file with
the smbpasswd file. The best would be if passwd triggers also smbpasswd,
or something like a daemon who synchronize them periodical. I've
allready checked around the whole net, but there seems nothing to be
there, that helps?
Did anywone of you have a good tip for me?
tnx

Should I specify _libraries_ what I want to build directly to binaries,
for example:
--nonshared-binary=replace,winbind-client,wbclient ?
Or are there specified binaries where the libraries are builtin to, for
examle:
--nonshared-binary=testparm, smbtorture, smbd and so on ?

percentage from density()
Hi folks,
I know that density function will give a estimated density for a give
dataset. Now from that I want to have a percentage estimation for a
certain range. For examle:
> y = density(c(-20,rep(0,98),20))
> plot(y, xlim=c(-4,4))
Now if I want to know the percentage of data lying in (-20,2). Basically
it should be the area of the curve from -20 to 2. Anybody knows a simple
function to do it?
Thanks,
D.

I have a broken authentication
Can any give me a hint what is wrong, or is this not possible ?

Weibull Prediction?
I am trying to generate predictions from a weibull survival curve but it
seems that the predictions assume that the shape(scale for

Here is an examle of the problem, the smaller the shape is the worse the
discrepancy.

Dovecot and LDAP - virtual hosting problem
...ecot-ldap.conf to authenticate both users from the same
ldap tree. My ldap tree is organized like:
ou=people,o=example.com,dc=acme
ou=people,o=somevirtdomain.cp,dc=acme
and so on... The only one thing that comes on my mind is something
like (default domain) in dovecot.conf (if %d is empty then
%d=examle.com, othewise...) I know this option does not exist
but is just comes on my mind... Maybe some specific filter_search or
something like that?
Than you for any help in advance.

LDAP auth and multiple attributes to construct the mail path
Hello,
So I am trying to construct mail path for my LDAP user lookups, and i need
to use two attributes instead of one.
For examle, my LDAP directory has two attributes: departmentAttr and
userIDAttr, and I want the maildir to reside in
/home/${departmentAttr}/${userIDAttr}
Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find a way to configure dovecot this way.
Right now, I have something like

Write greek text to Windows Unicode file
...-2LE")
and it works perfectly! But finally the program has to write out the results (e.g. frequencies, but of course the greek root words too) to an output unicode text file, which could be later read in by another R program or edited by Notepad or MS Word. I tried it with the same method (for examle using cat), but the result, i.e. the output isn't a rightly encoded Windows file.
Before sending this email I've searched for an answer to my question in the helps and also in learning guides and have found some hints but no solution.
Please do help me!

Conversion - lowercase to Uppercase letters
I would like to know how to convert a string with characters to all
uppercase or all lowercase? If anyone could let me know if there exists a
function in R for the conversion, that will be very helpful.

'Smb' server service is reason of panic of Samba 436 smbd daemon.

As I said I got working such mode with provisioning tough with 434

I simply deleted of private folder content and recreated users and all
worked.
And quite funny quiestion. I think.
I have some Samba4 shares named by only one letter, for examle "D" .
All are specified in uppercase.
But while accessing Samba4 server all are listed in lowercase.
And such situation seems for shares named with up to 3 letters.
If share is called "FdWw" , it is displayed exactly as specified.
How is to get shares from 1 to 3 letters name...
