Yo All, I am trying to install Samba 3 beta on my RH 8 machine. At the installation of red hat I chosed not to install samba. I downloaded beta rpm for Red Hat and when I try insatling it I get a msg. like "flie blabla conflicting with file from samba-2.2.7'' or something like that. Now I try runing comand rpm -q samba end that tels me there is no rpm samba. Not installed! Right?

i am running flashfxp under wine now a while, recently i upgraded to kubuntu 8.04 and installed wine 0.9.60. I discovered that then there is no hide button anymore in FlashFXP. Onbly 2 Buttons to the left, the close and the maximize button. I then re-installed 0.9.59 and with that i get again the minimse button back, unfortunaly this version has a bug not displaying the program in the taskbar.

I'm using experimental IP addresses (net 192.168.28.0), Linux servers with the 2.2.1 kernel version and RedHat 5.2, Win95 and WinNt 4.0 client machines. Hello, I use caldera 2.4 , and evrything goes well with samba. Login, shares, homes and neighborhood but the windows stations cannot change their samba password on the Linux serveur. It allways answers that the old password is wrong and it is no. anyway the password was recognise at the login... Their is no relation with passwd sync or passwd chat.
