XCP, Xen Cloud Control System version 0.5.5.2 released!
Greetings all: Sorry I''ve been a bit behind schedule, I''ve just released XCCS version 0.5.5.2 for both XCCS-VA (virtual appliance) and XCCS-SA (standalone) packages! This is a major upgrade for XCCS-SA, adding a load of new features that debuted in XCCS-VA. For XCCS-VA, this is mostly a bug fix release to to correct the host evacuate and shutdown functions for an

Permanently removing vdevs from a pool
Is it possible to gracefully and permanently remove a vdev from a pool without data loss? The type of pool in question here is a simple pool without redundancies (i.e. JBOD). The documentation mentions for instance offlining, but without going into the end results of doing that. The thing I''m looking for is an option to evacuate, for the lack of a better word, the data from a specific

XCP 0.1.1,0.5RC1 bug, part 2
Ouch, this bug is worse than I thought. If there are VMs on the host that prevent evacuation, doing host-get-vms-which-prevent-evacuation --minimal returns nothing but Error, no list of the offending VMs or reason. This is an important command but from a scripting standpoint, the screwed up output makes it pretty darned near useless. -- Vern Burke SwiftWater Telecom

"zfs hold" and "zfs send" on a readonly pool
Hello, all. I''m in the process of repairing a corrupted unmirrored rpool, and my current idea was to evacuate all reachable data by "zfs send" to the redundant data pool, then recreate and repopulate the rpool with copies=2. As I previously wrote, my machine crashes when trying to import the rpool in any sort of read-write mode, however I got it to import with

configuration question
Hello, The first thing I would suggest is to check freshmeat.net and see if there is something comparable to astound out there for linux, therefore bypassing the whole windows program need, bypassing the need for most pay-per-license fees. As far as running a windows program under linux, you would need WINE, vmware or some other win-emulator. Hope this advise helps some. -----Original

v2.3.11.3 solr plugin search via MUA fails to match accented ascii characters; cmd line exec of `doveadm fts lookup` PANICs (assertion failed)
I've since rebuilt/reconfig'd all parts of my setup from scratch; some good cleanup along the way. Atm, my entire system for send/recv, store/retrieve, + rules & search is working as I intend. Ok, mostly ... Except for this accented-character search mystery. I've got a _lot_ of mail with various languages in bodies, so _do_ need to get this sorted. > On 10/18/20 2:58 PM,

HELP - How Do I Separate incoming channels from the others on a PRI
...nnels in group 2 AND USES NO MORE CHANNELS, only those three. The reason for all of this is that I have faxing through asterisk working and want those last three channels used for faxing but I do not want the fax lines eating up all my channels and leaving none for voice calls. My Company has evacuated from Hurricane Katrina and any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ZKoss
Hi All, Has anyone here used zkoss.org? What do you think of it in comparison to scriptaculous? -- Leonard Burton, N9URK http://www.jiffyslides.com service-CbOvBfcOUrWrJCssh9Shfg@public.gmane.org leonardburton-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org "The prolonged evacuation would have dramatically affected the survivability of the occupants."

zfs eradication
Hi, I was discussing the common practice of disk eradication used by many firms for security. I was thinking this may be a useful feature of ZFS to have an option to eradicate data as its removed, meaning after the last reference/snapshot is done and a block is freed, then write the eradication patterns back to the removed blocks. By any chance, has this been discussed or considered before?

The function above (IsPossiblyOverwritten...) is used in LowerCALL() forall arguments CalculateTailCallArgDest() to determine whether an argument needs to be evacuated to a virtual register to prevent being overwritten. I am not sure what you are suggesting ? Storing this information (ispossiblyoverwritten) in the argument nodes? as ARG_FLAGSSDNode as a new ArgFlagsTy? You are using 'these'. I believe: the other functions e.g CalculateTailCallArgDest sh...
