xend start fails
I''ve solved my earlier ndiswrapper problems, which turned out to be
ndiswrapper-related rather than xen-related. However, I''m still unable

The actual forking of processes is handled in Tcl and the C code only gets
involved to write the data out (to an FD the Tcl layer keeps).
The problem is that every now and then the process gets stuck and becomes
unkillable just after forking, ie..

Mappery : Ye! Utuvienyes! and also Eureka!
Skimming through Fedora's routine updates, one day not long ago,
I noticed the string "garmin" -- and just now thought to try one more
time to make one of my GPSs (all of which are Garmins) talk to my legacy
proprietary map software.
IT DID IT!
This is the best computer news I've had since I began running
Linux, back in '98 or '99. It means I

Faster way to import Thunderbird pop emails into dovecot imap Maildirs?
...in
excess of 20,000 emails. Thunderbird/Dovecot seems to choke on that,
apparently timing out at some point. I've tried doing about 1000 messages
at a time, but even that is taking more than an hour and I have to be
around for each chunk.
I'm sure someone here is going to point me to some eureka moment method of
exporting the thunderbird folders to some format, sftp'ing them to the
server and importing. Just want to be careful that I don't mess up the
current batch of emails on the imap server.
Thanks for any suggestions.

This is achieved by automatically opening a tunnel to port 22

Bug in package stats function ar() (PR#10459)
Full_Name: Steven McKinney
Version: 2.6.0
OS: OS X
Submission from: (NULL) (142.103.207.10)
Function ar() in package "stats" is showing
a quirky bug. Some calls to ar() run to
completion, others throw an error.
The bug is reproducible by several people on different
machines, however, the ar() function itself ends
up throwing the error sporadically. Several calls to
ar() may be
