r square values for independent variables in multiple linear regr ession model -- newbie
Hello
Could you please suggest a way to find out the r square values for each
independent variable while using "lm" for developing a multiple linear
regression model.
Thank you

[LLVMdev] [Polly] Analysis of the expensive compile-time overhead of Polly Dependence pass

The interesting observation is, that Polly introduces three parameters
(p_0, p_1, p_2) for this SCoP, even though in the C source code only the
variable 'i' is SCoP invariant. However, due to the way
SCEVExpr(essions) in LLVM are nested, Polly sees three scop-invariant
SCEVExpr(essions) which are all translated into independent parameters.
However, as we can see, the only difference between the three
parameters is a different constant in the base of the AddRecExpr. If we
would just introduce p_0 (the paramete...

[LLVMdev] gcc 4.1* carashes compiling llvm-gcc
Hi Anton,

The version of binutils is 2.17
By the way. I will use the opportunity to ask you again :) I tried to
compile with gcc 4.0.4. It successfully compile LLVM but fails
compiling LLVM's gcc front end. The problem is architectural 32 and 64
bit.

Confused about extending the login generator ''user''
I''ve been using the login generator ''out of the box'' for simple
authentication, and its been working fine.
Now I want to extend it by simply adding ''type_id'' field which links to
my ''user_types'' table, but I''m hitting:

[LLVMdev] [Polly] Analysis of the expensive compile-time overhead of Polly Dependence pass
Hi Sebastian,
Recently, I found the "Polly - Calculate dependences" pass would lead to significant compile-time overhead when compiling some loop-intensive source code. Tobias told me you found similar problem as follows:
http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=14240
My evaluation shows that "Polly - Calculate dependences" pass consumes 96.4% of total compile-time overhead

[LLVMdev] gcc 4.1* carashes compiling llvm-gcc
Hi,
I tried to compile the GCC front end of LLVM in a 16 CPU SMP machine
with 64bit intel xeon CPUs. I tried with (GCC 4.1.0, 4.1.1, 4.1.2
versions). The LLVM compiles perfectly but when compiling the gcc
front end the compiler crashes with a segmentation fault by reporting
for memory leakages. Probably this is for the GCC's mailing list, but
decided to ask if you know anything more about

IAX/SIP and openser problem. IAX bug?
Hello.
I am in a strange situation. I have two asterisk. Asterisk "A" makes a
call for asterisk "B" by IAX. Asterisk "B" recives the call and delivers
it to Openser by SIP. The problem is openser printing this in the screen:

How to retrieve :web when redirecting to an Instiki page?
Hello, I am currently working on implementing some authentification code
onto Instiki (0.11.0). I am encountering a problem in this situation :
When I try to access say http:/localhost:2500/orz/show/Test , where orz
is an instiki web name, I am redirected to my signin form screen (which
is what I want) but then upon signing in I get the following message:

RE: Bug 1315 -- wrong schannel auth len 24 -- am I having same problem on my Mac?
Can someone verify that I am having the same problem with Mac OS X
Panther (10.3.3) using Samba 3.0.2 based on my log below? I get this
trying to connect from my WinXP machine to my Mac which is configured
with ADS.
If so, can you point me to a set of instructions on upgrading from 3.0.2
to 3.0.4 with this patch?

Likelihood Function for Multinomial Logistic Regression and its partial derivatives
Hi,
I would like to apply the L-BFGS optimization algorithm to compute the MLE
of a multilevel multinomial Logistic Regression.
The likelihood formula for this model has as one of the summands the formula
for computing the likelihood of an ordinary (single-level) multinomial logit
regression. So I would basically need the R implementation for this formula.
The L-BFGS algorithm also requires
