[PATCH] VTD/Intremap: Disable Intremap on Chipset 5500/5520/X58 due to errata
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/chipsets/5520-and-5500-chipset-ioh-specification-update.html Stepping B-3 has two errata (#47 and #53) related to Interrupt remapping, to which the workaround is for the BIOS to completely disable interrupt remapping. These errata are fixed in stepping C-2. Unfortunately this chipset is very common and many BIOSes are not disabling remapping. We can

Disconnected: Too many invalid IMAP commands
Greetings, I'm having big issues here, hope you can help me? Ubuntu Server 8.04, postfix 2.5.1, dovecot 1.0.10, postfixadmin (MySQL+ virtual users)? I am trying to move e-mails from an old IMAP account to my new dovecot IMAP server accounts. The old server is EIMS (Eudora Internet Mail Server, so a sort of mbox format)? I move messages by drag 'n' dropping in Mozilla Thunderbird. No problems with messages under 4MB size (there are huge messages, up to 25MB), but as soon as I try to move messages from 4MB and up, the connection hangs, nothing happ...

move mail from server with v1.0 to server w. v2.1?
I'm about to replace my old server. Both servers are on my internal network. The old one ist running debian lenny(32bit) with dovecot 1.0.15 and the new one debian Wheezy with dovecot 2.1.7. I set up the users on both systems identically (same gid uid). My first attempt was tho simply rsync the Maildirs along with the homes. Both deovecot versions are set up with the maildir format, but this

Polycom provision errors still! Arg!
I have been struggling over central provisioning for quite some time. I have eagerly watched each post with like problems but have yet to find a reliable answer. I have a Polycom 501 and I am trying to provision from an FTP server, and just to take any routing out of the issue it is on the same subnet. I am running the 2.0.1.0291 firmware and 3.2.2 bootrom. I set the IP info on the phone and

Kerberos to file server
Howdy, I may be approaching this problem entirely wrong, or not. Was hoping for a little guidance one way or the other. I've got this AS/400 with gobs of unused file storage on it that I want to share across as a file server to a FreeBSD box. The AS/400 side of things supports NFS and kinda pretends to be a Unix like machine in this role. Users will be booting from diskless clients

Dovecot Linux 2 Dovecot OSX migration
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA384 Hi, we are moving all our internal IT to an OSX server. Having used Dovecot on Linux for a couple of years now I want to transfer all IMAP folders so that users won't see a difference. Are there are any tips & tricks how to migrate Dovecot to Dovecot? I hope this is a simple thing to do. - -- Robert M. M?nch Mobil: +49 177 245 2802

ACL questions
Hi all, I'm planning a migration from Sun Microsystems' PCNetLink CIFS service to Samba and have a problem I cannot solve: Is there a possibility to map Windows ACLs to reflect the following: We have user groups with their own group directories. We need to provide some users in their group directories the ability to read/create/modify/remove files, but they must not be able to change

UPnP support in tinc
Hi Guus, Unfortunately, I often notice that even with the advanced UDP hole punching mechanisms that tinc uses, I still come across cases on my network where two nodes behind NATs cannot talk to each other because one of the nodes is behind a "strict" NAT that won't use consistent source ports for UDP packets that are sent to different destination addresses. More formally, this

5.2 x86_64 DVD
I've pulled this down with Firefox, wget, a bittorrent client and an ftp client using Windows as well as Linux hosts. Is something wrong with the distributed DVD image? It has failed an MD5 check every time I've pulled it down. Calling on all Polycom Experts
Hey all, I'll give my reseller a call for support in the morning, but I usually have better/faster luck on the list. I've got a SoundPoint IP500 that I upgraded to BootROM 2.6.2 and SIP image 1.5.2 on someone elses advice, I forgot to change out the old config for the new when I loaded the image up (I guess the config changed a bunch between 1.5.2 and 1.3.1) I was prompted with an error
