Eeek, my centos6 box won't boot after broken update, need help w/ yum
Hello there, I think I've shutdown my box right in the middle of a yum update.. The latest kernel installed won't simple boot, and the old one can, but only in init 3 mode (tty). From a console, I wanted to complete the yum update and it suggested me to do a `yum-complete-transaction`. yum-complete-transaction tells me that 447 elements are left to run in 1 transaction, runs and show

I''m trying to set attributes of widgets in subclasses like the following. class PersonTable < FXTable def initialize(owner) options = TABLE_COL_SIZEABLE super(owner, nil, 0, options) visibleRows = 5 ... end end visibleRows doesn''t get set. However, if I do this self.visibleRows = 5 then it does. Shouldn''t it work without "self."?

I'd say SMBlib is pretty much of a dead end as it stands, but it sure would make sense to have a good SMB/CIFS library. domain trust relationship with AD 2003 and user profile and home directory problems

Disable root shell from CLI
Hi, I configured Asterisk to run as "asterisk" user, but I see that a user can anyway get a root sheet using !command in CLI. I understood that it's something related to safe_asterisk and TTY console, but modifying the script safe_asterisk I wasn't able to disable this root access. Can someone help me? Thanks. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

How does the jitter buffer "catch up"?
...ed to the +20ms bin. _put gets the CPU again, and writes 0.98 (the 1.0 it fetched, multiplied by 0.98) back to the +40 bin. The sum of margins is now 1.98, which is Not Good (tm); it'll first shift it once more (ontime = 0.9x, +20ms = 0.9x), then shift again, (late =0.9x, ontime = 0.9x).. Eeek, packets are late, interpolate.. then they're early and so on. This will continue until the margins return to sane values. The chance of this happening is much less than the other one, but it COULD happen ;) >>> Why would you do that. The idea of interpolating a frame is exactly to...

The storage volume would be in the range specified: 8-15 TB. Any recommendations as far as hardware? Thanks. Boris. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
