strange behavior of directory window in this EditPlus
Hi,
I am using EditPlus through wine, where the trial version of it can be
download from :
ftp://ftp.editplus.com/epp221_en.exe
The installer works all right, and program can be started without any
problem at all.
Just one strange behavior of it, here is the way to reproduce it

Editplus bug?
As this is my first post here, I'd like to thank you all for your hard work on Wine. It's great having CS2 working so well.
I just installed Editplus in wine and have noticed an issue int he syntax highlighting.
An opening quote changes the text color and closing it ends the syntax highlight. However opening a quote and hitting return also ends the syntax highlighting even if the quote is left unclosed. This is not the behavior in Windows nor o...

Problem accessing Samba shares simultaneously by multiple users
Hello All!
I am using Samba Version 2.2.7a on a RedHat linux 9 box.Some .php files are
stored on the Samba server and Users are accessing these files from windows
system.They are using EditPlus to work on these .php files.Problem is that
when more than one users are accessing the same file,they are unable to
perform write operation on the file.E.g suppose user A has opened a file
with RW priviledge,user A is working on that file.If at the same time User B

how to stop cursor blinking in wine GUI
...uch question which I have been searching answers for quite a long
time to configure wine but still have not solved yet. Wine is the only
Windows program simulator running in Linux which I use, however one thing
annoying me is that currently the cursor is always blinking in the GUI. For
example, the editplus running in wine. Something it really drives me
crazy... really..
I need to find out a way to stop cursor from blinking, which GUI component
on Linux does wine built on? KDE or Gnone, or totally something else?
Also I tried to edit the wine registry as follows:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> CONTROL PAN...

Convince me to buy TextMate!
...TextMate. I installed
the trial and have checked it out, but don''t see what''s so great about
it. AFAICS it''s the Ruby and Rails macros for expansion and other stuff
that might be it. Other than that, TextMate seems like a pretty basic
editor. I currently use PSPad and Editplus, and I could probably
get/make macros for those. Am I missing something about TextMate? I''ll
buy it if somebody can convince me!

[Tip] Rails 1.1 / Ruby 1.8.4 - Fixing Syntax Errors on Windows
...have been running 1.8.4 and haven''t complained about my source.
On the Windows version however, if you start to see errors like:
Invalid char `\002'' in expression
parse error, unexpected tIDENTIFIER, expecting kEND
Go through your code and replace your tabs with spaces. I use
EditPlus and you can configure the tabs to use spaces. This solved my
problem.

windows tail development.log
Hi
unfortunately I have to develop on a windows machine from time to
time. But there is a little problem, mostly for debugging.
How can I get the same output on the console as in a linux box or on
the mac?
I don''t see the full output from the logger on the console.
