summary with names
Hi, how can I tell 'summary' to print the name of the summarised variable? This is probably an awkward newbie question but I didn't find an answer in the Docus, the FAQ and maillist archive. I want a summary for about 250 variables and realise it the following way (I know, that I shouldn't use iterations that way in R; but at the moment it's the easiest way for me): for(i in fb.12.unt[varA1:varZ9]){print (summary(i, na.rm=t))} It works fin...

Can Samba export 2TB+ filesystems?
Does Samba have any max filesytem limitations. In particular can both 2.2.8 and 3.0 support 2TB+ filesystems. For now, I am thinking of 6TB max, so I don't need to know about Petabytes or Exabytes. The other side of the question, is can Win9x, Win2K, etc. work with filesystems over 2 TB. If the above is in a FAQ somewhere, a url would be great. Greg -- Greg Freemyer

New Printing Howto collection is soooo good!!! (I learn a lot from theory)
Hi, I must say that i admire very much the printing documentation written by one of your samba team. I wish every documentations is like this! -- It explains to a newbie like me what I need to know. It is amazing: i read it and in my head a few questions start to go round. I read 1 page more and the questions are answered. It is not good that the other documentation pages of the howto

Clarifying CUPS Printing
We have been using CUPS to handle printing and have run into some "features" some of which a fresh install of the responsible server will probably fix. However there are some disparities between the documentation and our practical experience for which a clear statement would help others. The docs state when using CUPS the relevent lines of SMB.CONF should look like this: printing=cups
