I would like to double check what Echo Cancellation my Digium Card uses.
I thought I bought the little more expensive card that integrates

This sounds like some kind of GDM issue to me.
I am not sure the OP has ever answered the question of what video card
is installed.
OP: If you look at Xorg.0.log that should tell you if there is a
problem starting X. If you use /var/log/messages, dmseg, and/or
journalctl it might give you an init type error output.

Stopping setroubleshootd failed
This is probably a known issue, but just in case. On my Desktop, I am
running SELinux in Permissive mode. When I restart the system, or shut
it down, I notice this message:
"Stopping setroubleshootd failed". Notice at the end of the dmseg
output below, regarding SELinux, there are three (3) identical lines.
I don't know if that is normal or not.

I haven't explored to see if OpenBSD has the equivalent (or similar)
command. On the other hand, I did have a test system set up with
FreeBSD 11.0 (AMD64), nut-2.7.4_1 from the FreeBSD pkg. :)
dmseg excerpt for the UPS:
ugen1.2: <CPS> at usbus1
Result of the command, where "n" is incremented in a loop:
# usbconfig -u 1 -a 2 dump_string n

STRING_0x01 = <CP1500AVRLCDa>

Comparison between the S-TEC Zeus and the Intel X25-E ??
I''m looking at the newly-orderable (via Sun) STEC Zeus SSDs, and they''re
outrageously priced.

I just looked at the Intel X25-E series, and they look comparable in
performance. At about 20% of the cost.

Can anyone enlighten me as to any possible difference between an STEC
