(XEN) physdev.c:61: dom1: map invalid irq 1251
Hello,
i''m using the latest Xen 4.0 testing from the mercurial repository and i want to passthrough my Intel Core gpu. But somehow it has a weird IRQ of 1251. So i cant start the vm if i set pci=[''00:02.0'']. The device is bound to the pciback driver correctly.
The interesting part of xm dmesg (appears when i start the vm):

access VMX config on esxi with virsh
Hi,
Is virsh able to access the VMX config of a virtual machine running on a
esxi host?
I would like to take backups of my virtual machine configs and the
doku section
"Converting from VMware VMX config to domain XML config"
(http://libvirt.org/drvesx.html) comes close to this - but does not tell how
to get access to the vmx file. I would prefer a solution where ssh access to

[LLVMdev] Problems with paged registers and seperated program and data memory
Hi
I'm hacking my own backend for a small 16 bit microprocessor. I took some code from the msp430 backend, because there are some similarities.
But there are some features, I couldn't find a solution yet:
1. Paged Registers
The register set is a bit complicated:
it has 64 general purpose registers, and the upper 32 registers are paged registers with 8 pages. The lower 32 registers are

writable = yes for Profiles in smb.conf.default
Hello all
I'm suggesting to add line 'writable = yes' for Profiles share in file examples/smb.conf.default.
Then the complete share def looked like
;[Profiles]
; path = /usr/local/samba/profiles
; browseable = no
; guest ok = yes
; writable = yes
The reason is simply I spent two days figuring out why my Samba PDC did not work.
That line was missing. Not very clever, I

Hello List
If i have a PCI=[08:00.0](example) in any DomU config file

Otherwise i shutdown this DomU from inside the DomU with halt or shutdown -r now, the Dom0 shuts down to.
This happend on Xen 3.4.2 and Xen 4.0 (Kernel 2.6.18.8-xen, 2.6.18.8-xen0)
The Operating System to Compile xen was Debian Lenny and the Dom0 os.

fetch passwords from AD and group membership from /etc/group
Hi List,
I want to use Active Directory for my samba users passwords and /etc/group for storing group membership.
/etc/nsswitch.conf looks like:
group: file
Problem: the tests i ran show that the samba server does not know about group membership (deleting file from other user belonging to the same group fails). The same test works as expectet when winbindd is switched off. What do i have to

broken network-support for netBSD-domUs?
Hello.
I recently tried installing NetBSD-5 on xen-4.0.1-rc5, which resulted in no network (xennet0 can''t get IPs per dhclient and has no connectivity if set by hand).
Tried it with netBSD-5.1-RC3-1 i386 PAE & amd64, netBSD-5.0 and even 4, all with the same result.
On a older xen version (3.3.1) networking works fine, so I assume it''s a xen bug, and not a netBSD-kernel

Delay opening Word, Excel files
Hello,
I am running samba 2.2.7a on Red Hat 9. The clients are running Win2k with
SP3 and Office XP with SP2. The Samba server authenticates with a WinNT 4
domain controller.
When the users open a Word or Excel document there is a 30sec delay before
the file opens. From info gleaned from searches on this subject I have tried
turning oplocks off altogether, which resulted in Word and Excel
