Early media dectection problem
I noticed when I call certain IVR systems, such as 1800calldhl, that Asterisk will not barge the prompt. Would this imply that Asterisk has an Early media detection problem. Is anyone else experiencing this problem. Is there a fix? Kurt

Regarding error handling in Opus Decoder
Hi, While testing the Opus Decoder we came across the following: If the decoder encounters an 'Invalid Payload Length' the decoding of the stream is stopped. Also, when the decoder encounters 'Range coder state mismatch', the decoding of the stream is stopped. I believe that it should reject the erroneous payload and start decoding the next payload for it to work properly in a

Preliminary 2.03-pre1 result...
It seems that 2.03-pre1 resolves PXELINUX problem on a reasonable number of hosts. Perhaps somewhat importantly this seems to include the RBFG PXE boot floppy, which did not work with 2.02. This was somewhat of a surprise, since it didn't exhibit the failure mode that I would have thought would have been the trigger of the bug. Instead, it was one of those stacks that would transmit packets

MixMonitor with non-20ms packets
Hi, MixMonitor saves partial conversation when non-standard voice packet size is set (Asterisk 1.4.18.1). For example, if SIP-peer has alaw:30 then saved file would contain only 67% of total conversation. With alaw:20 MixMonitor saves 100% of conversation. It seems that MixMonitor has hardcoded "packets per second" or "samples per packet" values. I did a lot of googling, but

virsh & vmxnet3 (VMware) VM
Hi, I try to install a VMware VM via virsh with a vmxnet3 network card. Virsh sends me an error : "Insufficient video RAM. The maximum resolution of the virtual machine will be limited to 1176x885. To use the configured maximum resolution of 2560x1600, increase the amount of video RAM allocated to this virtual machine by setting svga.vramSize="16384000" in the virtual

Because the decoder's predictor state converges over multiple packets of data, you cannot just skip to the next payload without introducing decoding errors. We have also tried to make the

[SPAM] - Asterisk and S-Bus - Email found in subject
Have you set port 2 as 'NT' in the mISDN config file (not the Asterisk one)? Also, you will probably need to set it to ptmp. You need to configure them in misdn.conf (the Asterisk one this time). Here's the tail of my misdn.conf (4 x BRI): [trunks] ports = 1,2 ; physical port numbers (as defined in mISDN.conf) context = inbound ; context for incoming calls in

Hi there, Besides the problem of Voicetronix dialing too early before the carrier gives a dial tone, there also appears to be issues with the audio quality when more than 1 channel is utilized.

Samba 1.9.18 DOS to UNIX and back with ASCII
I have found that Samba does not seem to handle the ^M EOL character very well. This seems to be a big problem with Windows Notepad and then in vi for UNIX. Other than the ux2dos and dos2ux commands does anyone know of another solution or if this has been fixed in a more current release of Samba? Thanks! Problem detecting keypresses in FXTable
I''m using an RXTable in my application and I would like to be able to select a row and then press the Delete key to delete the selected row. This does not seem to work, however, as apparently keypresses are not initially recognized. In my FXTable derived class I have: connect(SEL_KEYRELEASE) do |sender, selector, event| puts "code = #{''%X'' %

Re: Demonizing generic Linux issues as Fedora Core-only issues -- WAS: Hi, Bryan
Even I've left this thread. I guess we're all waiting for Lee to turn Blue. ;-> Or is it Red (Hat)? ;-> Okay Lee, we all agree, Red Hat makes stupid decisions, adopts buggy software - especially the kernel and Red Hat is to blame for the decisions in the kernel, and also stupidly backports fixes instead of adopting newer versions with the fixes. And there is absolutely no need for

New PTR records not visible
Ok, we might have found something here. I created a small script, see below, easy to adapt. So, after running this i see the same problem as in : https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14268 If i do it manualy everything works fine. But if i "past the commands or run the script" Then i see this problem.. So im thinking here, the speed of adding is creating somekind or
