[LLVMdev] Any objections to my importing GoogleMock to go with GoogleTest in LLVM?
Keep in mind that I am a maintainer for gmock so this would not change the
external project decencies of LLVM.

2.2.5, Sol 2.8, W2k - Printers...Status: Access Denied unable to connect - ??
hi
When I highlight a printer icon in Win 2K, the Status bar shows
Status: Access Denied, Unable to connect.
It shows this for all samba printers.
I can print a test page even though it shows access denied.
Anyone know how to fix this?
thanks.

Is gmock written with more portability in mind than gtest? In my experience, bringing up a new platform for gtest is a huge amount of pain (unless the code has been improved recently - I last tried it about 18 months ago), because the code has very poor abstractions and an incomprehensib...

how to upgrade gtk on centos 4.8
Hello,
My centos is 4.8 while I need gtk 2.8 or later. How to upgrade GTK?
I'm trying to upgrade manually based on RPMs on 5.X, there are too many decencies when upgrading libX.
Is there anybody can give some suggestion to enlighten me? Thanks.

[LLVMdev] VS build is broken again
SimplifyLibCalls.cpp is no longer part of Transforms\IPO and
Transforms\Scalar\SimplifyCFG.cpp is renamed to SimplifyCFG.cpp or
something to that effect ( I didn't look up the actual checkins ).
Having fixed that, I still can't get through the build:
Creating library C:\work\s\llvm\win32\\bin\Win32\Debug/opt.lib and

I never made any assumption athat anyone had any obligation to do anything
I just asked a question. If I was too vague, then i am sorry. I dont
expect anyone to help me, but I thought that it was ok to put the
question out there in case someone wanted to help me. I didnt expect
abject hostility for it. Human decency was the only thing I did expect.
If my question was a pain, badly formatted, or too juvinile, then i have
no problem being ignored.I asked a question

ps2pdf "Print command" script trouble

I have a perl script that I've written to convert a ps file to pdf file.
I want the user to be able to setup a
postscript printer in WNT/2k and convert ps files to pdf by printing to
a [ps2pdf] printer share.

print ok = Yes

Inclusive language in LLVM: can we rename `master` branch?
While you can go the route of changing master to main or something similar,
you're up for a circlejerk you can not win. If you change technically
established terms each time someone gets offended, this will never end.
As a comparison, when studying in europe, you do your Master-Degree. In
Germany, when you finish your apprenticeship as carpenter and do the next
level, to actually lead with

[LLVMdev] Proposal for GSoC project for improving llvm-test testsuite
...hould consider to write a more
CPU intensive test program for llvm?
3. Since we need to avoid many library dependencies, we need to reduce
dependencies to standard C/C++ libraries and llvm libraries itself. Is this
correct ? If so any points that need to consider writing tests which has few
library decencies?
4. What a test program should cover?
As I read in the testsuite guide [3], test programs in llvm-test covers two
things in general. It check for a particular LLVM feature or trigger a
specific bug in LLVM. So in addition to that any other point that need to
consider, along with the structure of a...

asterisknow-version
Does anyone know if it is possible to disable asterisknow-version from writing over my issues file?
Alternatively is it really required to have it as a dependency in asterisk 13? Surly everyone has upgraded from the old repository file system and asterisk 13 wasn?t even on the old file system.
It?s a pain that I can?t use my own repositories to update my asterisk installations when there is a

Recycle bin Functionality
Giulio-
I apologize for contacting you directly on this, but there doesn't seem
to be much interest from anyone for answering
any questions on the recycle bin module. I'm hoping you can help.
I need to configure the recyle bin to function as it did (before V.

2.2.5 on SOL 8 - deleted folder reappears
I'm using Samba 2.2.5 on Solairis 8. I have a problem with W2k and WXP
clients.
I have a folder, in a share, that is protected against deletion by a
non-root user. I tested this in the unix environment
to ensure the permissions were setup correctly. If an NT4/W9x client
attempts to delete this folder, an access denied
message is displayed. However, if a W2k or Wxp client attempts to delete

Re: (2.2.5) Does AUTO PRINTER DRIVERS work - definitive statement please (Trevor Fraser)
Hi
(Samba 225, Sol 2.8)
Well.....for anyone that's interested..
I decided to try the printer upload/download support in 225.
So far I've been inconsistently able to upload and download drivers.
When uploading, sometimes I'll get
the message described in the HOW-TO docs and when I do it seems to
upload OK. But then when I attempt
to install the printer on a client, I get prompted
