Setting a call to be recorded before Xfer?
I need to allow the company operator to decide whether to record a call.
(Car dealership that needs to coach salespeople). They don't want to record
every sales call, just for the purposes of coaching certain employees on an
ad hoc basis.
The situation is:
a. Call comes in on PSTN PRI
b. Call is routed to operator in dialplan
c. Operator ascertains that its a sales call for a sal...

...ecome expert in, all working together, is what lifted
mankind out of the subsistence agrarian lifestyle and enabled us to build
our way up to the modern age.
If something went wrong with my car, I certainly wouldn't attempt to diagnose
it myself and figure out the root cause so the guys at the dealership would
have an easier job of it, because tracking down the problem when I lack the
training, experience and tools to do so would waste a great deal of my time
on something that the dealership's experts could presumably figure out far
more quickly and accurately than I could. Everyone can agree...

Fwd: Decision Stats
...A Framework for
Diners<http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/DecisionStats/~3/431922290/>

I thought of opening my own diner, but how to decide where to locate it ?
Note this is a generic model that can also be used to things like shopping
malls, or even an service dealership , or any facility that is dependent on
nearby population density.
Here is the approach and it is called Ohri Dhaba Framework (in case you
wish to use it, as I have the copyright ,thank you")-
1) Take Google Earth or Any GIS data for mapping specific zones of City.
2) Use Market Research to...

Would you rather I didn't look at it, or replied to your email, if I'm

[LLVMdev] ARM unwinding bug
Hi all,
I'm working on the CoreCLR project, coordinating a community effort to produce an Android port of Microsoft's open-source version of the CLR. A major part of that is getting everything to run on the ARM32 architecture, which is by far the most common CPU for Android devices.
A couple weeks ago, Ben Pye, a developer working on the ARM32 stuff, found and reported a bug related to

Vpn Trouble
I am trying shorewall as my previous post With alisias on eth1 loc and 4
pptp client vpns.
The odd thing is when I enter one of the vpns in interfaces such as vpn1 it
works.
But if I enter the vpn in the hosts file shorewall blocks the vpns.

Bug in attended transfer or as expected?
...ts but on a weekend
any of the 15 sales staff may pickup the main incoming number if busy)
but the biggest problem is how do I explain to a customer that this
amazing cutting edge VOIP PBX cant do something that their 10 year old
phone system can :)
We do have 85% Snom 360's in this particular dealership so have switched
to using the phones attended transfer but this isn't my preferred
solution.
If anyone has any ideas to fix this that would be hugely appreciated, or
just a comment on whether this is expected behaviour.
Thanks again
Alex

Is Wine64 usable yet?
Hi,
I am trying to get a general feel of how usable Wine64 is.
I just built 1.3.13.
To see how well it works, I ran 64-bit Putty. It works flawlessly.
Now, I am trying to play around with different little programs. I took
"notepad.exe" from a Windows 7 install (hoping it would be a reasonably
simple program for a start). It crashed with:
