Sa-Update Error - CentOS 6.3
...sage, i thought
some server may have problem. That might causing the issue, will resolve
its own. but since a week now i am getting this message. because i have
not come across this error before, is anyone have across what is it? why
my server is unable to download the file

Changing "Shutdown" to "Log off" in Win95?
...o Win 95 clients
is working well, but my users are usually not up to complicated
tasks. Has anyone found a way to get logging out down to a single
action (like, Start/Logout), instead of Start/Shutdown/Close all
programs and log in as another user/Yes?
I'm tired of explaining this already! :)

Transfer directly to voicemail?
...icemail? Example: I receive a
call, the caller wants to speak with x, who I know is not in the office.
Other than transferring them to x's extension, which rings to timeout
and then picks up voicemail, can I transfer right into voicemail?
I am using all SIP phones in my setup (7960s).

Maximum number of X100P cards in the same * box
Hi all,
Which is the practical (from your experience) limit of the number of X100P
cards installed in a single Asterisk box?
Asterisk can work reliable with 6 X100P cards in the same box?
Anyone know when the 4 ports FXO Digium card will be available on the
market?

No communication with UPS
...ing back in and power back on.
This randomly works and I am able to get a connection back sometimes.
Now, I dont know if this is a nut problem not initializing corectly or
its a UPS problem where it locks up and doesnt want to talk. Has anyone
else seen the problem and what was the solution.

"Failed to create Users" problem.
...ain, [etc...]" (same when I try by IP). When I access "smb:/" and
navigate through the tree in Konqueror on the samba server itself,
everything works fine. I can ping back-and-forth between the two
machines by name and IP just fine.
My passwords seem in order:

My workgroup is named "home" on both client and server, my
hostname matches my netbios name (as defined in smb.conf, it is
"www")... The only thing slightly abnormal that I have is that my /files

Expanding SSHKnock shell script, a few questions please
...to open two ports with one knock, instead of creating another knock setup, I want one knock to open both to simplify things, so I can ssh into both the firewall and my desktop from home via one knock.

Help requested for Aeris Dive Computer interface
...t then allows me to create a new log (the file is successfully created in C:\Program Files\AERIS\Aeris Computer Interface 2.x\Logs, but then the process immediately complains that it cannot read the file and terminates.
I've run it under the terminal window and I found the following messages:

How to get R to ignore certain values when analyzing a column in a data table ?
...'-' which I've converted to zeros. I've
read it in using read.table fine.
I want R to ignore the zero values when graphing or doing various
other calculations.
Is there a way to do this ?
I did try to use NA but kept getting errors that x must be numeric.

Getting rid of "You haven't logged on here before"
...COPIED and not
merged with local copies as well as privacy concerns, I'd like to blast
the profiles subdirectory constantly. But that means the
infamous "You haven't logged on here before" message continues
to show up.
Does anyone have a solution yet on how to get rid of this ?

__stderrp sym unresolved in 4.8 stable
...up, sup'd on 4/29/03, and cvs up the system having problems, which
is running FreeBSD 4.8-STABLE
/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/lib/libm.so.2: Undefined symbol "__stderrp"
objdump -r /usr/lib/libm.so.2 show the symbol __stderrp. What library
resolves that and why is it not defined?

AGI answering the channel even though I never asked it to
...nswering the channel. I don't have an Answer command in
my dialplan or AGI. Is this something that will automagically happen
whether I want it to or not? If so, I'm going to have to do some
ugly dial plan scripting to make this work.
In case it matters, this is a PHP AGI.

issue building my own package... moving from Apple OS to Windows
...t I was doing. Nor did I think I had a "binary package".
Live and learn I guess.
It's still weird to me that I have to install "source packages" from the
command line. But I'm through the learning curve now, so I'll pipe down.

Detect sound and continue, like BackgroundDetect() for voice

The Dialogic IVR SDK monitors call termination status this way, so I'm
looking for something similar in *. Anyone have any ideas on this one?
Or am I going about this the hard way and missing an obvious
alternative?

Shutdowns occuring without power outage.
...er I manually do a
'upsc' I always receive a valid response.
2. How can I control what warnings trigger a shutdown. Can I disable the
shutdown on a stale data error. I am aware of the side effects but a
running system is still better than an incorrect cleanly shutdown system.
