Add to enumerable
This might seem like a really daft question, but I couldn''t find an answer anywhere. How do you add something to an enumerable object? Something like var first = $A(getElementsByTagName(''td'')); var second = $A(getElementsByTagName(''tr'')); first.PUSH(second); where the PUSH is somethin...

Having a Blonde moment.
I know I must be being daft, but is there a way to set which context the queuing system uses when it dials the operators/agents? By default it appears to use the default context. I've looked through voip-info.org and can't find anything, someone please put me out of my misery.

[PATCH] vhd-util create: add -C|nocow option
Add ''-C'' (nocow) option to vhd-util create. Btrfs has terrible performance when hosting VM images, even more when the guest in those VM are also using btrfs as file system. One way to mitigate this bad performance is to turn off COW attributes on VM files (since having copy on write for this kind of data is not useful). According to ''chattr'' manpage, NOCOW

data input strategy - lots of csv files
...rrently the longest file has 318 rows. (merge() is losing the head and doing runaway memory allocation - but thats another question - I'm still trying to pin that issue down and make a small repeatable example) Currently I'm reading in these files with lines like a1 <- read.csv("daft_file_name_1.csv",header=F) ... a63 <- read.csv("another_silly_filename_63.csv",header=F) and then i'm naming the columns in these like... names(a1)[2] <- "silly column name" ... names(a63)[2] <- "daft column name" then trying to merge()......

It''s daft that we even have a CONFIG_SMP option in Xen. It spends most of its time broken because no-one using x86 builds it, and you won''t even be able to buy any non SMP hardware before long... I''d vote for expunging CONFIG_SMP. Ian _______________________________________________ Xen-d...

smb_pam_accountcheck: PAM: Account validation failed...
Firstly, I've already solved the daft mistake of mine. I'm merely sending it in so the next person digging through the archives might get helped out. I've configured Samba v2.2.8a, alot of default settings. No LDAP interaction, no winbindd. Accounts were created both in '/etc/passwd' && 'smbpasswd', but...

reusing partials
Might be asking a daft question or missing something obvious here as I''m a bit of noob at this, I''ve got the code below in a partial and am using it to display and attach skills to degrees which is working fine, I now need to do exactly the same thing for interests and was wondering if there is any way...

form_for resources with :singular specified
I fully suspect that I''m missing the point here somewhere so I promise I won''t be offended if you tell me I''m being daft. My application rents equipment ... not equipments. So I have the following: map.resources :equipment, :singular => :equipment_instance class Equipment < ActiveRecord::Base class EquipmentController < ApplicationController The problem comes in my _form.haml partial that is use...

polynomial predict with lme
Does lme prediction work correctly with poly() terms? In the following simulated example, the predictions are wildly off. Or am I doing something daft? Milk yield for five cows is measured weekly for 45 weeks. Yield is simulated as cubic function of weekno + random cow effect (on intercept) + residual error. I want to recover an estimate of the fixed curve. ############### library(nlme) set.seed(1) ncows <- 5; nweeks <- 45; week <- 1:n...

Using CentOS Wordpress rpms
Greetings, Apologies for my seeming daft naivete. I'm wondering if there any sort of conventions for using Wordpress on CentOS? Generally until now, I have had users install Wordpress from tarballs on a case-by-case basis. This means that you can have several different versions of WordPress operating on a site. With the RPM you...

Pots Extensions
Hi all, I am either going daft or not reading things right. I have just installed, (well 10 hours ago) a TDM40B and 3 X100P cards. I have followed the examples for the conf files to the letter. I can call the pots extensions OK from IAX clients, SIP clients and from the incoming X100P cards. But, if I pick up the handset to m...
