[XenARM] ARM support ?
Hello, I would like to know if the ARM architecture is well supported. At Xen.org it is mentionned in available architectures, but does it work really well ? I''m looking at CPU like "Tile64" from Tilera : http://www.tilera.com/products/processors/TILE64 The wiki http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenARM doesn''t seem to be up to date. Is it ? Any advice ? Thanks,

btrfs-convert processing time
Hi, I''m trying to convert two ext4 FS to btrfs, but I''m surprised by the time needed to do that conversion. The first FS is on a 500GiB block device, and btrfs-convert is running since more than 48h : root 1978 25.6 47.7 748308 732556 ? pv_ops domu memory limit ?
Hi, is there a memory limit for Linux pv_ops domU ? On my Dom0 (2.6.31.6-dae-dom0-00751-g60e0545 / Xen 3.4.2-2) I have a guest setup with 15600MB, when I start it, Linux (2.6.32.8) see only 8GB : Feb 17 07:31:04 pacman kernel: [ 0.000000] Built 1 zonelists in Zone order, mobility grouping on. Network optimization ?
Hi, I''m trying to see if there is a way to optimize network on DomU (pv guests), with Xen 4. I do my benchmarks only with "iperf", with default configuration and 64KB TCP window size. From my tests transfer rate drop from 3.19 Gbits/sec on Dom0 to 925 Mbits/sec on DomU, yes 72% slower. I test with this hosts : - a dedicated server - a dom0 on another dedicated server -

Kernel memory initialisation
Hi, I have a small problem on small (128Mo) PV DomU : the kernel use too much memory. By default if I start my DomU kernel (2.6.39.3) with "memory = 128" in the xmdomain cfg, I obtain only 54MB of usable memory : # head -n 1 /proc/meminfo MemTotal: 54844 kB While searching, I found that Xen (I guess) annouce 4GB of ram to the kernel, so in logs I have : # grep Memory

[blkfront] max_segments & max_segment_size
Hi, I have (very) poor write performance with Xen PV, used over RBD, and I suppose it''s because of very short values for max_segments and max_segment_size. (I have 250MB/s write speed in Dom0 vs 40MB/s write speed in DomU) From what I read, there is already a patch to fix that, called "multi page ring support for block devices" :

dom0 unable to launch domU
Hi, I have a problem with a dom0 which is unable to launch my domU : all my dom0 are Debian Lenny amd64 with Debian kernel 2.6.26-2-xen-amd64 and xen-hypervisor-3.2-1-amd64. Then all domU (PV) are Debian Lenny amd64 too, with vanilla kernel 2.6.29.6. So, this new dom0 can''t launch any domU which are working on an other dom0. Software is same on both dom0, and hardware is near the
