Hello, I have an odd problem with the game League of Legends. Let me Start with my setup: Ubuntu 10.10 x64 Wine 1.3.11 Everything is setup following this guide: http://www.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?p=4224812#post4224812 The only other additions is I did use winetricks to add d3dx10 and ie8. When I play the game with an emulated desktop, the launcher (Adobe AIR) runs fine (except built in IE frames). All of this is expected, but when I run the game without an emulated desktop I loose all chat options and anything relating to chat refuses to connect. My question is why would...

...has been suggested that we test DX10 games and that we report issues. However, with only about 5% of the entire implementation done, we can expect a lot of things to not work properly. Hence, I was wondering how would it be best to proceed with reporting. Is it recommended to test with winetricks d3dx10, or clean wine? What should we be looking for in our logs? I have 4-5 DX10 games which I can test, therefore having a clear method could help me and others to report what the devs need. Thanks!

Hey all, I am fairly new to Ubuntu and Wine, so please excuse the noob questions. I've been having trouble getting Black Ops to run on Wine. I can start it up, get to the main menu (for both multiplayer and singleplayer), and even view the loading screen for a map, but once it is about to start up, I get a message that says that DirectX has had an unrecoverable error, see the README for
