Does xapian support image search?
Currenly we have our Xapian-based search engine search photos from our collection only with the image's name and tags. Thus, I'm wondering that except for these text contents attached to the image, whether Xapian can actually support any kind of image search? Thanks for any suggestion! Best, Shen...

Inbound Callerid for SIP Phones
I have a number of inbound analog lines connecting through Digium cards to an Asterisk box. Asterisk then bridges the calls over to the internal extensions which are all SIP phones. Currenly the inbound lines do not have callerid on them so callerid=no in my zapata.conf file. What happens on inbound calls is that the SIP extensions are dialed but their callerid shows 'asterisk@SIP:X.com'. Does anyone know how to change the callerid on the inbound calls? I would like to chan...

[LLVMdev] test/LLVMC should be guarded by a check for llvm-gcc/llvm-g++
Hi, I'm currenly working with clang, so I don't have any llvm-gcc installed (I used to have the 4.2 release version, but that broke a lot of tests). A number of tests (test/CFrontend and test/C++Frontend for example) won't run if you don't have llvm-gcc installed, which is good. However, the test/LLVMC...

Defunct / zombie AGI after some execution time

We have tested some improvements to solve the problem, with no success: - Upgrade from RedHat 8 to Centos 3.x - Upgrade from Centos 3.x to Centos 4.x - LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 - ulimit -n 65535 - Upgrade from asterisk 1.0.7 to 1.0.12 Currenly we can not easily migrate from asterisk-1.0.x to 1.2.x Any ideas?. Could be Debian a solution? Thank you.

pauses sync'ing between tmpfs and disk on Linux 2.4.x
I've set up a 1GB tmpfs filesystem on a system with a single IDE disk and 2GB's of memory. I'm storing a large amount of RRD files (~300MB) on the tmpfs filesystem to make their generation a bit speedier... this part works great. However, I want to rsync these files over from time to time to a directory on the local filesystem (same physical server). I'm using rsync 2.6.4pre3

Form helpers and overloaded methods - help!
...number_with_precision(self.attributes[:price]) end In a view, @book.price comes back formatted correctly as expected. However, <%=text_field "book", "price" %> bypasses my method and gets the unformatted price. It just doesn''t seem consistent. I''m currenly playing around with a hack to form_helper et all, but it''s kinda complicated and so I was looking for an explanation or an easy workaround. (I know I can set the precision in my db to accomplish this issue but this is just an example.) Thanks much to anyone willing to help. Brian Hog...

Avoiding uid conflicts between rfc2307 user/groups and computers
...ee DC also share my user's Home and Profile directories. So I need at least : -> Builtin User/Group ID mapping between DCs (easy) -> Domain User/Group ID mapping between DCs -> Computer IDs that does not conflicts with the other ID (computer accounts are not used on the shares) How I currenly do : --------------------------- I don't use ADUC. So to create a new user : -> I use the samba-tool command always on the same DC (say DC1). -> One local xidNumber is generated in idmap.ldb -> So I take the xidNumber and I put it in the rfc2307 uidNumber attribute. I do the same mann...

reading a character translation table into R
I have a txt file (attached) that defines equivalents among characters in latin1 (or iso-8859-1), numeric &#xxx; codes, HTML entities and latex equivalents. A portion of the file is shown inline below, but may not be rendered well in this email. I'd like to read this into R to use as a character translation table, but am stuck on two things: - The 5 fields in the file are

[LLVMdev] [LLD] support for dlltool generated libs in COFF/PECOFF
...tils dependencies. It would be ideal however if we could support what dlltool currently produces in lld. mingw.org toolchains will not be using the new tool I am creating and every distribution of mingw would have to rebuild their crt's just to work with lld. This isn't ideal when clang is currenly used like a drop in add on for mingw-64 toolchains. So if it is an easy enough fix we should support this in lld Especially when MSVC already does. Is there much involved with supporting this on the lld end? Many Thanks Martell On Sat, Jul 25, 2015 at 10:38 PM, Rui Ueyama <ruiu at google.com&...

SIP Phones-Receptionist Setup
I am looking at placing a system in an office with a central receptionist, and phones for each individual employee thereafter. Could I use a Snom 220 with additional keypads to view if the lines are in use by the other employees? Fred is in sales... A call comes into the receptionist and they transfer the call to Fred. The receptionist can tell Fred is still on the phone by viewing the assigned
