Xen with Longhorn August CTP Guest
I have a dual-processor, dual-core Opteron 265 system. It doesn''t have DDR2, and along with what I can find on the web, I''m pretty sure it doesn''t have Pacifica, so I can''t do full virtualization. Right now it has Longhorn Server Build 5600 (August CTP) x64 on it. But I would like to try out some virtualization stuff to try different os''s and to isolate installs of Exchange 2007 Beta, etc. But I can''t get any virtualization software installed - VMWare Server and VMWare Workstation abort the installation and rollback just befor...

small fix for Civ CTP
hey dudez! I've almost got Civilization:Call To Power to work perfectly (after jumping through some hoops) but there's just one problem. Whenever I move my mouse to the edge of the window to scroll the map the mouse gets stuck and it scrolls forever. The game doesn't freeze though. What could be the problem to that and what libraries should I copy over to get it fixed? Any ideas?

...iming to connect a BT headset, a cell phone and a phone land line all together. I've found some : http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=2079 http://www.clipcomm.co.kr/ The clipcomm BS-A101 sample price is : $570. It's VoIP land phone that can make/receive a voice call using your CTP cell phone or BT-enabled headset. Maybe the best system is: http://www1.norwoodsystems.com/ It's complete wireless solution that include hot connection to bluetooth hubs when the employee walks in the office. Bluetooth headset in handsfree modewith SJPhoneorX-lite
I am able to pickup, hangup, and flash, using the buttons on the phone with all of the soft clients and both of the headsets I mentioned below. I don't believe I had to change anything on the client side, just had to get the ctp (cordless telephone profile) working in the bluetooth stack, which was a pita. I struggled with the same issue...I could use the headset, but that's not very handy when you have to run to the pc to pickup or hangup a call! I'm working with doing a voice-recognition dial using the new voxeo...

Bluetooth headset in handsfree modewith SJPhoneor X-lite
Hi, You need to have completely replaced the Microsoft driver, because it doesn't support the headset or ctp Bluetooth profiles. This gave me fits! I followed the instructions at http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2005/07/05/bluetooth.html and it works with both a Plantronics and a Motorola Headset, and I can answer calls with idefisk, eyebeam, x-lite, and kapanga. If you end up not having...

Get all symbols stored(?)in llvm::orc::ExecutionSession
Hi Bjoern, I’m a bit worried about taking symbols from modules, because some of the > symbols might change later when the code was compiled with the JIT Symbol names shouldn't change from the moment they're added to the JIT (i.e. after being fully mangled). Consistency of symbol names is a requirement for ORC to work. You could try hooking into the orc::Platform API for this:

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Raising minimum required Visual Studio version to 2013 for trunk
I’d like to propose raising the minimum required compiler for the LLVM & Clang trunks for Visual Studio to MSVC 2013. Doing this will allow us to take advantage of a bunch of C++11 features that are not supported by MSVC 2012. According to MSDN (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh567368.aspx) the list is: * Non-static data member initializers * Variadic templates * Initializer lists *
