After some trials, we ask the telco to switch off crc4 on their side and everything works flawlessly. Is there anything in the crc4 calculation that may be broken? Hi whatever I set the span line to in zaptel.conf ie span=1,0,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4 span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4 span=1,2,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4 zttool always shows Sync Source: Internally clocked surely this cannot be correct.

I have my peers registered to SER.asterisk seems to be sending mwi for the peers seen in the sip show peers CLI command. i have my ser server registered with asterisk as a type=friend and all clients register to ser.how do i get mwi to work for these clients registered to SER. Thank you, -AA

Hi all, We have been fighting with telco for a entire week. Today they came here with a LITE3000 to analyze what is going on. When I configure zaptel with no external clock, E1 gets aligned/synchronized with bit rate in 2048000 bps, both me and telco. span=4,0,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4 But when I configure span4 to get clock source from telco they become unsynchronized. Dear, I always had one E1 card with one span, so I've never had any problem in set it up through /etc/dahdi/sustem.conf and /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf because I put span=1. But now I have a PBX with two E1 cards with 4 span (8 span in total). How do I have to define both card in system.conf and chan_dahdi.conf, and how do I have to refer each span to the corresponding card ??? Thanks a
