Problem with Sessions
Hi,
Using Netbeans 6.7.1,
Rails Gem Version 2.3.2
MySQL Server 5.1
I am currently doing the depot application from the pragmatic programmer
book (agile web development with rails) everything has been fine up until
the point of creating sessions. I know they are using an earlier version of
Ruby and the gems version is 2.2.2. As soon as I put the necessary code in
the website no longer works and

CELT CFFT size configuration
Dear all,
Sorry for this simple and maybe stupid question, I'm working in the
implementation of opus for ARMv7e microcontroller using a library CMSIS/DSP
used to calculate the CFFT and MDCT based on the DCT-IV. my question is:
In the implementation of Celt you have used a fixed length CFFT equal to
1920, I want to know if there is some issues which can appear if a change
that configuration

One thing I note is that the beeper.off (Disable the UPS beeper) doesn't
seem to work. I am willing, with a little guidance, to learn and experiment
with my setup to figure out what is going on there and submit a fix.
Thank-you,

Login Patch
...r/bin/login, whereas here
it is /bin/login.
Attached is a patch which corrects this by adding a check in configure.in
and adding LOGIN_PROGRAM to PATHS in Makefile.in. Of course you need
to re-run autoconf to pick up the new changes.
(Please CC: me as I'm not on this list)

Facter not initialized in rspec in puppetlabs-stdlib?
...ause lookupvar(''interfaces'') just returns :undefined. I have not found
any examples in the existing rspec tests; getvar_spec.rb seems like it
should have something but the tests it does are pretty basic.
You can see some of what I''ve been trying at
https://github.com/wcooley/puppetlabs-stdlib/blob/master/spec/unit/puppet/parser/functions/has_interface_with_spec.rb
Is there something obvious I''m missing?

LDAP connection leak?
...]: deferring operation
Jan 23 00:08:37 teradactyl slapd[31707]: deferring operation
The connections started a 0 Jan 19th, at 14:35. Notice, however, how
high the 'fd=' descriptor is at this point--which leads me to believe
that Samba isn't closing open socket connections.

Group and Client Access Problems w/Samba 3
...ng through every group
that exists. If find this behaviour curious and non-optimal.
Also, the SHT and other docs mention the idmap stuff, but only in
relation to winbind, which is not being used and is not necessary,
AFAICT. Am I mistaken? Do I need idmap/winbind with PDC/BDC+LDAP?

candisc
Hello,
I have a question regarding the candisc package. My data are:
species three five
1 2.95 6.63
1 2.53 7.79
1 3.57 5.65
1 3.16 5.47
2 2.58 4.46
2 2.16 6.22
2 3.27 3.52
I put these in a table and then a linear model
>newdata <- lm(cbind(three, five) ~ species, data=rawdata)
and then do a candisc on them
>candata<-candisc(newdata)

Another prob. w/keygen on Sol8
Hi All,
I'm seeing the same problem reported by Don Cooley
on 3/30/01. Compiling OpenSSH 2.5.2p2 on
Solaris 8, sun4u, 64bit using Sun's Forte 6 C compiler
(-xarch=v9 option), /usr/ccs/bin/make and OpenSSL-0.9.6.
RSA keygen works, DSA fails with Bus Error. I already had DSA keys
generated on my test machine that were generated with
Openssh-2.3.0p1 and t...

Can I mount an hidden share?
Hi,
I would like to mount an hidden share on windows from my linux box.
I am trying:
mount -t smbfs //server/share$ /mountpoint -o username=user%password
and I get a "share not found".
On windows I can run \\server\share$ and it works.
Am I making something wrong? Or ist this behaviour due to a limitation of
smbmount?
Thank you for your help

Resolution to problem using 'net ads keytab' commands on RHEL3
...lla describing
the problem and managed to decipher a work-around.
The resolution is to add to your /etc/krb5.conf the following:
[libdefaults]
default_keytab_name = WRFILE:/etc/krb5.keytab
For reference, here is the bug:
