I'm attempting to use parted to create a partition on a 28TB volume which consists of 16x2TB drives configuired in a Raid 5 + spare, so total unformatted size is 28TB to the OS.. However upon entering parted, and making a gpt label, print reports back as follows; Model: Areca ARC-1680-VOL#000 (scsi) Disk /dev/sdc: 2199GB Sector Size (logical/physical): 512B/512B Partition Table: gpt Why is the disk re...

Queue Penalties not working properly
Hi, I am using Asterisk 1.4.18. I am implementing Penalties for my agents. What is happening: two agents configuired one agent with penalty 1 and the other with penalty 2. All the calls must go first to Agent 1 and if his line is busy then only then agent 2 will get the call. However my queues are not behaving in this manner. I have impmemnted ringall strategy. Now when first call comes it ends up with agent 1, w...

./configure missing in _portable_ openssh?
Just went and cvs co'd portable openssh as described on the website. However, there's no configure there. nor there's a build.conf script of some sort to rebuild it. When I manually did autoconf configure.ac > configuire, I got something, but it couldn't find config.h.in when running. An attempt to run automake said that aclocal.m4 is obsolete and I need to rerun aclocal, but

On 25 February 2011 22:46, Bill Wendling <wendling at apple.com> wrote: > Duncan brought up the question of how to release clang. It would be nice to package clang by itself without all of the LLVM tools. Basically, making it a standalone package. I have no problem with this (in fact, I think it's a great idea), but it does mean changing Makefiles and stuff. Any help with this would

logon drive, ldap ssl = start_tls, ssh and client/server encryption (and logon.bat permission tip)
Dear list, More questions on my PDC travels ;-) 1. Is it ok, with roaming profiles on, to leave "logon drive = " empty, as this drive seems to be confusing users? 2. All my ldap stuff is using tls, and I just want to confirm that "ldap ssl = start_tls" is looking in /etc/ldap.conf for certificate locations etc.? 3. Is all traffic between Windows clients and the Samba

[LLVMdev] RFC: LLVM Release Documentation Changes
Hi all, I'm working up some changes in the way LLVM is released. Attached is the latest HTML file for HowToReleaseLLVM.html. The major change is in how we do branching and tagging. I want to use a hierarchical version of tags for the various release candidates and final release. The structure of the tags would be something like this. The 2.9 release branch:

The perfect development environment?
I am trying to create the perfect development environment for rails and i dont know exactly which way to go. Do i create a windows environment or a *nix environment. If i go *nix, what distro is best suited for rails. I would be using mysql, so that would come in to play. If i go *nix, i would use apache. Any ideas for the right environment would be greatly appreciated. I guess the major choice is
