Package Rcpp: Question conerning source code of cpp files and related question
Dear all,
I am trying to use Rcpp to write some files in C++ for use in R.
Below is an example for a cpp-file (crossp.cpp). Then I use
>sourceCpp("crossp.cpp") in R and the corresponding function is
availabe in R.
Now I have to question related to this worklfow:
1) Is there a way to see the source file of the "final" cpp-file? (I
mean is it possible to see how the

Conerned about Interfacing R with Fortran
I am reading the manual sections illustrating how to call a Fortran subroutine from R.
I feel uneasy at the explicit statement about ".Fortran" interface working with Fortran 77.
I would like to call a Fortran-90 subroutine from my R script. Is that supported at all ?
Thank you,
Maura

In theory, I should be able to hit my server:
http://my.host.com:3000/user .....
Doing so, throws an error page in my face:

+ no such file to load -- iconv

There are many posts out there conerning this missing dependency for
windows, but none for *NIX.
What is iconv and where is it missing from? ruby? rails?
In either case, where do I get said file?

Domain Member Computer not showing in ADUC
I am running Samba 4.4.16 on Slackware64 14.2. I have a domain member Windows 7 workstation. I
upgraded the hardware on this computer a couple of weeks ago. I deleted the computer from
the domain, the re-joined after finishing the upgrade.
This computer show in the list with 'samba-tool group listmembers "Domain Computers"', but does
not show up in ADUC > Computers. I've

CVE-2009-4355 / openssl memory leak in SSLv3 (DoS)
Yesterday most major linux distributions pushed an update to their
servers with a patched version of openssl conerning CVE-2009-4355.
However, I have unitl now been unable to find anything on the subject
(no SA or anything on VuXML) as to how this bug affects FreeBSD and if
there's a patch on its way to the upstream ports-tree.
Is there anyone who has some information on the subject?

Converting Fortran or C++ etc to R
I'm going to try my hand at converting some Fortran programs to R. Does
anyone know of any good articles giving hints at such tasks? I will post
a selective summary of my gleanings.
Cheers, Murray

AFTREG with ID argument
Dear all,
I have some trouble using the "id"-argument with aftreg (accelerated
failure time regression analysis from the eha library).
As far as I understand it, the id argument is used to group
individuals together if there are time-varying covariates and the
data is arranged in counting process style.
Unfortunately, i cannot figure out how to use the "id"-argument. The

are so short, I've only received one 'down' alert due to them. So it's a

On a whim I changed my default_vsz_limit (as I had been increasing every
other limit but that) from 384M to 512M.? The system hasn't rebooted in
24hours.
Now that could be a coincidence, but I thought I'd at least put it out
there.
