Trellis graphics and clipping
Hi again folks, I seem to have got the trellis (lattice + grid) business working basically OK, in that I can get my 5x5 array of histograms laid out as they should be. However, there is a behaviour I can't see my way round. Even when displayed in the R Graphics Window, there is some clipping (the extreme top, bottom, left and right edges are not there, so that labels, and parts of numerical

Rprofile file to automatically plot data, tried using the .First command.
No. You put the _whole_ thing into .First(), not just the plot statement. One possibility is to have the code in a script file (say myscript.R) and define .First as follows: .First <- function() source("myscript.R") Haven't try it myself, though. 3.6 portable ready.
The Cray and tru64 patches I have, have been applied. Unless there is any major "oh my god it does not work". I believe 3.6 should now be ready for release soon. I'd like to thank everyone for providing feedback on the status of their their platform. Hopefully, we have not missed any platform that is commonly used. - Ben

Using the Rprofile file to automatically plot data on Sta rtup of R version 2.0.1.
Dear John, I belive your problem has to do with the sequence of startup. I think that .Rprofile is called before the required libraries are attached. You might like to try putting your code into a .First() function and run it that way. uncompressed FLAC
What dbPowerAmp does is encapsulate the wav file into a FLAC container without actually compressing it. I guess it can be a bit arguable if you can technically call it a FLAC file :) It's like using "Store" mode in RAR, for instance. The idea behing this "uncompressed FLAC" is to give the FLAC tagging abilities to people who don't want to compress their files. But
