ipac/iptables + mrtg accounting
i''ve installed mrtg to make graphics of the trafic from the interfece
throw the snmpd, and the same with ipac witch put iptables accounting
rules colect them and store, and gets the output,
but the "problem" is that ipac graphics are 3 times smaller that the
snmpd. Why???
i did catch all the trafic with ipac so no problem here, and i know that
ipac/iptables is at level 3, and

ACL: some maybe stupid questions
Hi.
I want to use ACL on my RH-9.0 box (x86), so I got ext3 ACL patch from
http://acl.bestbits.at/ and tried to apply it to the kernel that ships
with RH (2.4.20-8). The patching fails on some vm file so I got a vanila
kernel 2.4.20, apply the patch and compile it. This works fine. Also
RH-9.0 precompiled Samba 2.2.7 works fine with ACL.
I connected to my share with WinXP and do some testing

Monitor guest vm memory usage
Hi All
Is there a tool to monitor qemu-kvm guest vm memory usage ( free in guest vm)?Nowadays, I have already researched some methods:1. qemu-kvm process memory usage.? ? ?Since qemu-kvm process memory usage always increases as time goes on, it will not reflect the memory usage in vm.2.?virsh dommemstat? ? ?Just as method 1.3.?virsh qemu-monitor-command --hmp [domain name] "info mem"? ?

hi Is there any tool out there wich allows you to use a flac file with
ogg metadata as an the file of origin and converts its to an ogg.vorbis
file without losing any of the metadata tag, I know there is a perl
script wich does something similar but it keeps the metadata in separate
files, basicly what I am asking is if there is any application that

...he copyright clearly extends? And why do you have any rules
if you think the GPL doesn't pose a problem with combining components?
More to the point, why don't you eliminate any question about that
problem with a dual license on the code you control?

How 'you' arrange them isn't the point. Or even any individual who
builds something that isn't intended for redistribution. B...

Re: Monitor guest vm memory usage
why not using collectd with the libvirt plugin on your host. It will
colect the info, and then you just have to display with rrdtool

..." that is
permitted. The cdrtools and ZFS on Linux match these rules - well, I assume
that the ZFS integration code follows the rules that are needed for a clean
collective work.
Cdrtools follow these rules:
- No code from CDDL and GPL is mixed into a single file
- Non-GPL code used in a colective work was implemented independently
from the GPLd parts and form a separate work that may be used without
the GPLd code as well.

I completely follow the claims from both licenses, so there is no need to
follow your wishes.

Unless, of course, you actually wanted the code to be used by others
or included as components of best-of-breed projects.

gjournal on 6.x wont build
Hi all,
I was intending on trying out gjournal on a new disk i've added in my
desktop. I had a look to see what the most recent patch provided by
Pawel and found
http://people.freebsd.org/~pjd/patches/gjournal6_20061024.patch
I created the directories as per Pawel's original post
(http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-fs/2006-June/001962.html)
and the patch succeeded with no failed
