Hacking up streaming - we want to
...hose aside, I'd love to get even 64Kbps VBR Vorbis streaming Radio 1 to
the world even if it were only people on this list that knew about it while
it was being developed.
Hope someone can offer insight, especially on the icecast & plugins fronts,
Thanks,
..ciaran

Scheduled Ogg streams for testing
Well we're testing scheduled Ogg streaming, but it would be nice to

This will contain any scheduled tests to come and anything currently

Last Night of the Proms
This is NOT official, and NOT supported, but as the proms are a free to
all event, I thought I'd set up an Ogg stream for anyone that's around
today and wants to listen in.
The traditional last night music has been replaced in recognition of
the events of the last few days.

Cessation of BBC Ogg streams
Permission to stream BBC Radio 1 & 4 24x7 ran out today. Radio 4
have said we can go for another week (so that's fine for the first
LotR episode), but after that it will cease too.
If you enjoyed them, and want to see them return, then all feedback is
appreciated - send to webweaver@bbc.co.uk.
Some on-demand stuff is still available, and still linked from
