my icecast problem
...know what type of topology the upstream connect runs (FDDI, ATM, etc) then there is really no point in playing with the packet size. Most OS's by default are already using optimized packet sizes. 'apply' with additional class variable

...go into ~/tree/etc/icecast.conf and add in the additional values. Icecast.ref in ~ from the blownout tarball is the std icecast.conf file that ships with icecast.
