Quad BRI card
Hi all
Does Digium make a quad BRI card? I can't see anything of the sort on their
page but I thought they might call it something else in the States.
Failing that, can anyone recommend a make/model that would handle 4 BRI ports?

Sipura 841 and paging function
I was browsing through the web config of a Sipura SPA-841 (Firmware 2.0.13)
and noticed a setting marked 'paging' under supplementary services on the
Phone settings page on the advanced admin login. Anyone know how it might
be used? Could it be like the Snom -

exten => 10,2,Dial(SIP/testuser)

CLI and DNIS presented to Analog extension
My company is based in Australia and we have a need to be able to
present CLI (ANI) and DNIS to an analog extension. Currently our PABX
vendor is saying they can only deliver CLI between the first and second
cadence.
The system will collect calls via an aggregate of ISDN PRI services from
the PSTN and then direct them to the analog extensions in a hunt group
configuration. It is important that

T38 problem
I have problem with fax machine Panasonic DX600. It's connected to Grandstream Handy Tone 386 which is connected to Asterisk. Asterisk is connected to my SIP provider.
To some numbers I can't send FAX, and I get following error on CLI.
WARNING[2237] chan_sip.c: Unknown SDP media type in offer: image 31358 udptl t38
I believe that Panasonic DX600 machine supports T38. And when I have

Soekris and Asterisk
Has anyone on the list used a Soekris engineering PC as a TDM - Ethernet
bridge? For example something like a net4801 with a TE110p in it and then
using TDMoE to get it into a bigger server where the call processing proper
will occur.
Anyone know if it might handle a quadspan card ok? (no transcoding, just
pure PRI to TDMoE bridging).

Fritz PCI card in ptp mode with chan_misdn
Hello !
I would like to get working a Fritz PCI card using chan_misdn
operating in ptp mode.
Afer compiling mISDN into the kernel and building chan_misdn

Can I recreate a Fax from a recorded file?
This is a very KGB / NSA / InterPOL / CIA type question, but if I have a
recorded file (G.711, no compression) can I feed it into standard in of
an application and have it recreate the fax that was send?
I don't know enough about the Fax handshaking to understand this.

te410p and Telstra Onramp 10
Hi,
now that these cards have approval in Australia, has anyone had any luck in
connecting them to a Telstra Onramp 10 service? Are these configured as a
PRI, bchan=1-10, dchan=16 in zaptel.conf and switchtype=euroisdn in
zapata.conf? Better yet anyone have any of the above .conf files they could
share?
Is an onramp 10 what is referred to as a 'channel bank'?

Can Asterisk generate a 404 message back to a UA?
I've got the following situation where a UA is trying to call another UA via
Asterisk and SER according to UA1 -> * -> SER -> UA2. Now in the event that
SER generates a 404 Not Found for UA2 I would like Asterisk to return or
relay or forward or whatever the 404 to UA1. Anyone know this might be able
to be done (or maybe not possible at all?)

Handling invalid extensions
Hi, I was wondering how other people might handle this situation. We have a
10 channel fractional E1 and have so far only allocated about 25 numbers out
of a 100 number block (9500 - 9599). If an external caller dials an invalid
extension then we would like for them to be put through to our main number.
In order to make for a short and simple extensions.conf we have defined our
incoming context

txfax spandsp
I've been using spandsp and rxfax to receive faxes for a while now and over
the past few days I've looked into the other side of things - txfax. I
can't seem to get it working properly. I've included debug logs below of
both the tx and rx side of things. I've tried three different servers,
asterisk v1.0.6, 1.0.9 and CVS, FC2 and FC4, libtiff 3.5.7 and 3.7.1, TE405P
