AVM B1 and PTP mode
Hi !
I've fetched a spare AVM B1 card from the cellar, and installed it. After
"modprobe b1pci" I did "capiinit" and capiinit moaned about a missing
t1.b4.
So I search the web and found one at
http://www.avm.de/ftp/cardware/b1/x_misc/ddi/. When I now look at the
controller, I finally see p2p-mode:
# cat /proc/capi/controllers/1

io 0xa400
irq 5
membase 0xf1800000
type B1 PCI

I have some fritz cards now, followed instructions from stuart hirsts email of Jun 28:
->
Thanks for your info but I think I have it working at last. Below are
the steps I took which might help others.
1) Download the PCI AVM drivers from ftp://ftp.avm.de/cardware
2) Download the Chan_capi from http://www.junghanns.net/asterisk/
3) tar -xvzf fcpci-suse8.0-03.09.10.tar.gz which creates a directory
called "fritz"
4) edit the file fritz/src.drv/tools.c and put "//" in front of the
following lines to exclude them :

Can someone please let me know what drivers I require to use this card under
debian and with asterix,

HELP on AVM Fritz with CAPI drivers for SMP RH 9
Hello,
I have been wrestling with installing the CAPI drivers for AVM Fritz in order
to use chan_capi with Asterisk.
I use an SMP machine, RH 9. I have found rpm's for CAPI and AVM drivers
(namely: capi4k-utils-2003.06.16-08.mungo.RH9.i686.rpm and kernel-2.4.20-8-
avmfcpci-03.11.02-08.mungo.RH9.i686.rpm), but I believe that they support only
single processor machines.

Mandrake & CAPI
...http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+AVM+Fritz+CAPI+Driver+Install)
Guidance states 'Download and install your kernel sources' - I installed
these as part of the original installation, so I'll ignore.
I download and install the CAPI driver -
# cd /usr/src
# wget
ftp://ftp.avm.de/cardware/fritzcrd.pci/linux/suse.82/fcpci-suse8.2-03.11
.02.tar.gz
# tar -xzvf fcpci-suse8.2-03.11.02.tar.gz
# cd fritz
Great! Looking good!
Guidance states modify the makefile in /usr/src/src.drv as follows -
